Looking for a good fiction novel with 900+ pages

    Too late, I've already read it, but now my interest is piqued. I may have to watch this anime anyway.

    Maia by Richard Adams - this epic is massive! Haven't read it yet, but I've got a copy.

    Sacred Games by Vikram Chandra is a very readable detective-in-the-Indian-underworld story.

    Not sure on the word count but 'A suitable boy' by Vikram Seth is vv long and v good. Set in post-independence india a sprawling saga with fascinating characters.

    Just finished A Game of Thrones which came to be 807 pages (paperback) without including the appendix. A Clash of Kings comes to be over 900 pages (paperback). And the third installment, A Storm of Swords, is longer still. All of the books in the A Song of Ice and Fire series are rather long. The final novels, The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring, are planned to be 1500+ pages each.
