I was stumbling through Half Price Books with my daughter and came across, The Lost Years of Merlin by T. A. Barron. I read this as a child, and completely forgotten about it. However, when I saw the cover again with the bird on his shoulder I was taken back. It's been some time since I've read it, so I don't remember everything which is great since I'm going through the series with my daughter, but the memories of reading it in my elementary library are amazing. If you have young children, buy the first book for them. His website say's there will be a movie coming out at some point, so this may be the next Harry Potter, or the next Eragon. Has anyone else read the series? If so how long ago?
Not to 'bump' my own thread, but I noticed it had almost 300 views. Has no one ever heard of/read this series?
