Well, since you obviously didn't bother to read, or address, my arguments, and did not offer anything sensible (not to mention make factually wrong statements), I don't think it makes much sense to continue this conversation.
If you keep having to reset your internet connection, have you tried resetting your modem? I traded routers out only to find out all I needed to do was reset the modem. It goes for months and then I need to reset the modem again. Some issue with Comcast, gawd knows what, but that was the problem, not my computer or the router.
