    Never had that particular displeasure myself. I spent time at Ft. Irwin, NTC the home of the OPFOR. When I was there they were in Russian uniform, using Russian equipment, and playing war games in the desert. Or the stupidly long hours on Reforger.

    we had mosquitos too... in brecon the mossies and clegs come out every time the rain stops...and you're not supposed to put mossie rep on your hands because the solvents aren't good for your rifle (that's thing 1023 that's bad for the L85A1) and also take the printing off the buttons on the radio and so on

    Let's not forget all the DIs, drill instructors, who don't understand gravity. And constantly have recruits trying to push the ground back into place.o_O
