I'm a bit behind the times on movies...

The Square Ring (1953) What you would expect of the era and generally entertaining in that way. Suprising level of medical knowledge about brain injuries and relation between impact and concussion when you consider that various sports are only just realising that there is a link or a need to protect people. I can't help but think about adverts for cigarettes curing a coughs.

Leon, The Professional. The ending makes me cry, dammit.

    "This is from . . . Matilda."

    Did you know . . .

In the original script. Matilda was supposed to die pulling the pin for the kill. Holy crap! They should have done it. Twice as morbid.

Aww Man, always hated that ending... Sucks for Leon. I feel I would have hated the Matilda death ending.

And what did I think? I thought it was very good and the CGI, particularly in one scene, are genuinely jaw-dropping.

Incredibles 2. What do you expect from an Incredibles movie? This one delivers. It's mostly the Elastigirl show, which I like because she's the smartest and most interesting member of the family. Jack-Jack spends most of his time driving his dad nuts by manifesting a new power every minute. I spotted who the villain was very early on, but who cares - that's not the point. The action is great, the humor is great, the characters are wonderful and their growth as a family is very well written.

I enjoyed the movie a lot.

I have over a thousand movies on DVD. Last one I watched was called "13 hours." Over all very good but since it wasn't fiction for the most part, it was sad.

Just got done watching Logan's Run, good movie, though at the end all I could think of was... yep, you guys can get old now, but now you have to actually survive on your own without the aid of a central computer giving you everything. shelter, food, power, etc. have fun kiddos. (I just hope they rescued those test tube babies)

Oh, and good luck with the whole birthing and raising of children part as well. LOL .

I just watched "The Meg". it was pretty decent, but I was able to guess its ending half way through. Still entertaining though. I would give it a 6 out of 10.
