Frank hearing a bell woke me up. not bothering to chang back i walked into the hallway and followed the others to where ever they where going, i didnt know because she started walking off before i got out of my room.
I woke up at the sound of breakfast. I simply dressed in a white t shirt, converse snkears and blue jeans. I followed the others out into the hallway.
Needfyre They were beginning up the dirt path when Needfyre stopped. The air shimmered and a gorgeous Feri appeared. She was beautiful in a glittery green ballgown and emerald platform heels. Her wavy hair and almond-shaped eyes were also deep seagreen, and she held a long sparkling wand. The Feri was frowning (her lipstick and eyeshadow was also green) and her seagreen eyes glinted with dark anger. She was pissed-off. Needfyre crossed her arms and said, "What do you want, Jenny?" "Aren't you going to introduce me to your new novitiates!", Jenny the Feri screeched. Her wand glowed threateningly. Needfyre rolled her eyes and sighed. "Students", she said, "this is Jenny Greenteeth. She rules the Feri's on this island." "Hellooo!", Jenny Greenteeth trilled. "Yes, I am a Feri." She shot a black glare at Needfyre. "But what your headmistress forgot to mention was that I was trapped on this island when those damn witches made this place. So were my little Feri children." A bunch of snorts, cackles and giggles came from the dried-up bushes, but the Feri's remained invisible. "Anyways", Jenny said, "I just thought I'd pop in and say 'hi'! Come visit me some time!" She giggled and there was a whoosh of wind, and she was gone. Needfyre said, "Lets keep walking." When they began walking again, she added, "Do not go looking for her. She'll probably drown you in her swamp, she's a bog Feri. Jenny is not the bubbly ditz she appears..."
Dean I took of my headphones when I saw the fairy and heard everything the Professor said. I turned to Christopher and said, "There is the threat you kept talking about, Chris."
"Whatever. I don't have any worries." I said. I was looking forward to the fighting class it should show the teachers and students I'm capable of backing up what I say.
Wyndii I watched the Fae nervously, feeling an aura that bespoke of mischief coming from her, but when she flitted away i sighed in relief. My skin itched from being near her -as if my dark side was irritated. I ignored it and followed Needfyre into the forest, looking around curiously. There was little noise from birds or other animals i realized, and as we came to a bend in the path i halted. Something moved through the trees -a pale figure resembling that of a boy around the age of the others just behind me. A ghost. i marveled, cautiously walking towards him, and the boy stopped and looked at me with glazed eyes. I raised my hand in greeting, but as soon as i did he blew apart like mist. Beware the darkness, for it devours the light... a voice whispered in my mind, and my eyes widened. I felt a cold chill run down my back, and i quickly went back to Needfyre's side, feeling suddenly as if i was being watched not by one pair of eyes but by many. I felt my ears twitch from side to side constantly, and the forest felt faintly oppressive. Beware the Darkness, for it devours the light. Run, child of misbegotten dreams, run, Take flight...
Needfyre Needfyre glanced at the werewolf and said, "We're almost there, but I suppose you can run the rest of the way..." The picnic was in sight, at the crest of a hill just ahead. A large checkered cloth was laid out with three baskets of food. For drinks there was a nearby pump that had to be cranked to spout water. Carved wood goblets were supplied. A real live goat was tethered to a post, for the werewolf. "Enjoy", Needfyre said. "I'll be right back, I'm going to make sure Jenny Greenteeth isn't stalking us. Behave youselves", she added in a stern voice. The headmistress left them on the dirt path and sauntered back the way they came, full of purpose.
taking of at a full run i go to the picnic leaving everyone behinde me. changing back to my human form i sit down and wait for the others
Dean I paused my music as I saw the picnic table in front of us. It was about a minute away, I have very good stamina, so I started to run my way there. "Wyndii and Chris you guys gonna walk?! Frank and I are running!" I git to the picnic area a while after Frank and I patted the spot next to me on the bench, for either Chris or Wyndii, seeing as how Frank would be eating on the ground and covered in blood. I reached in my basket and pulled out a bag of fresh strawberries. Strawberries are my favorite fruit so I picked one up and ate it very slowly. It was very crisp and delicious. "I wonder what else is in my bag?"
"Yeah I'm walking." I said I was still tired and I wasn't about to start huffing it up a dirt trail. Yes I'm lazy like that. I sighed and began walking into the magical world of bark and bugs.
Wydnii I looked up at Dean's exclamation and smiled slightly. "Just a minute -there's some interesting plants here." I said, going into a small thicket. Blueberries and small cedar trees wreathed around me, and i breathed in their scent with a sigh. At least there was something here i was used to eating. Reaching out, i pulled some bark off of the cedar trees and picked a handful of blueberries -some of them half-dried from the sun- and stepped out of the thicket. Popping a piece of the bark into my mouth i chewed on it. The texture was like bubble-gum but tasted like syrup after the initial hardness of the actual bark was out of the way. Walking up the hill, i plonked down next to Dean and opened my bag, finding a sandwich and a head of lettuce. "You can try these if you want." i said, placing the bark and blueberries in the center of the blanket, still chewing on my bark piece. "It actually tastes pretty good -like blueberry gum if you combine them." Biting into my sandwich, i contemplated what to do with the lettuce. Maybe make a salad?
looking at Wyndii eating a piece of bark i say "why eat wood when you could eat meat? ill be back in a second." changing back into my wolf form i run into the trees. sniffing the air i catch the scent of a young doe. following the scent for a few minutes until i spot the doe. slowly and quietly i approach it while still out of its rang of sight. once i was close enough i attacked taking down the doe before it knew i was there. carrying the doe back to the picnic i drop the deer and change back into my human form and ripping a piece of meat off the deer and putting it in my mouth and say " why dont you try some of this instead?"
I take one of the blueberries and bark and start to chew. "This is pretty okay." As Frank walk towards us I saw the fresh flesh hanging out my mouth and I looked at him and Wyndii and said, "I would puke, but that would be a waste of good strawberries." I plopped another strawberry in my mouth while I took a bottle of orange juice and some bacon out of my basket. I scarfed down the bacon in one hand and I washed it down with the juice in the other while not facing Wyndii. As girls don't like to see us men eat like that. I leaned over to Wyndii and whispered, "Who are you most eager to fight?" I did this for two reasons. One; to see how Frank would react to me whispering to a girl he obviously had his eyes own. And two; to get her actual answer.
"suit your self" i say and start devouring the deer. after eating all i wanted i got up and started walking around. i cant wait for this fighting to start. after a few minuets i sigh Dean probably didnt know i have better hearing than everyone, except maybe Wyndii, and i could hear everything he was saying but i figured id should let them have their privacy.
"I'm just another psycho!" I sang as I stalked along the forest path. I stared at Dean and Wyndii wondering what they were talking about. I hope that girl gets stripped of her powers she clearly can't handle them. As for Frank I'll deal with him. I silently froze one of the trees until it split and feel right in front of Dean and Wyndii. That ought to make things interesting.
jumping up as the tree falls i move well away from where it landed. looking around for something to attack but there was nothing but Dean Wyndii and Chris. wondering what made the tree fall i started examining the tree. but, as i am not expert on trees, didnt find anything that would have made it fall.
The Green Cat Headmistress Needfyre was gone for ten minutes, when a green kitten sauntered out of the bushes. It sat and stared at everyone with huge emerald eyes and it seemed to grin. "Meow!", it said, and lashed it's tail playfully. And then in Jenny Greenteeth's voice it said, "Do you kiddies wanna plaaay?" Immediately the bushes exploded with Jenny's fey--fox maidens, bark-skinned rowen men, flower girls, satyrs, all kinds of Feri. Some of them rode goats and others rode giant horse-sized felines called Civets. All of them smiled maliciously and their dark eyes glinted with mischief. The green cat was engulfed in a plume of dark green smoke and when it cleared, the human-sized Jenny Greenteeth appeared, grinning and waving her shiny silver wand. "Kill them all!", she trilled in a high soprano, and her subjects pounced.
"Bitch is nuts!" I shouted as two flowers girls came at me. I made my hand in the shape of a gun and fired 2 ice balls at the two flower women. It froze them enough so that I could avoid whatever they had in mind. Then I set my sights on Greenteeth and went for her. I fired 3 large shards of ice hurt hoping to nail in the heart.
Fight time! Jenny Greenteeth disapeared in a cloud of smoke as the ice shards neared her. Her voice carried on the wind, "Slice 'em and dice 'em, my pretty Feri's!" The feri's responded by fighting even more viciously. A pack of feral fox maidens pounced on Chris!
frank changing into my wolf i slammed into a group of satyrs ripping off their heads while biting into the neck of another. jumping up and charging into the other creatures then lost myself in animal blood lust.
As more of the fairy's attackers came after me, I opened a black hole that they jumped in to by accident. That is where the would be torn to bits in a matter of milliseconds. "I knew she was a threat!"
"Shit!" I screeched as the creatures rushed me I broke into a roll and blasted one of the trees and sent it toppling on 3 of the fox maiden. I pushed more energy into my palm and sent two more of those fox chicks flying in a ball of ice. I was attacked from behind by the last one she nailed me pretty good in the shoulder. I spun around and booted her in the face.
Frank panting and with blood pouring out of a gash on my chest i stood over the body of one of the horse sized felines. i was surrounded but didnt care ive killed more of them than i could count. smiling to my self i charged again.
Four foxes ran at me and one cut my arm. I turned around and put my hand on it's face. I used my gravity based power to hit it with the force of a speeding car. Sent one flying and dead. Another one tried to come at me I turned into a cloud of darkness and it went through me. I turned back into normal and picked it up and broke its back over my knee. I opened up a black hole as the other two came at me. I back flipped in the air as one ran into it and was pulled in as the other turned around. But I used my gravity based powers to pull it close to me and through it in the black hole and I closed it. "Fucking dogs! No offense Frank."
