"More damn psycho women!" I roared in anger. This teach was nuts. I sent gathered all the enrgy I could and blast frost into Medusa's face. I continued this but going for different pars of her body like arms and chest.
As Christopher was doing that I was charging a hand full of power in my hand and I shot it at Madussa. I sent the impact of a car going at 30 mph at her so it could break her to pieces. And I smiled. "This is different." I didn't look in her eyes when I shot at her.
Samantha "What. The. F***" I can hardly contain myself. A half-woman half snake humanoid just spawned out of the headmisstress' broach! The creature's hair was made of some kind of snake and it had a shield on its arm. If my hair was white, it was whiter now. I turn to Dean, only to see the look of disappointment on his face. "We aren't fighting each other..?" "Um... are we supposed to... kill it?" I say shakingly. My answer was delivered in the form of an all-out charge from Dean and the other boy... Christopher was it? Well, whoever he was, he had conjured ice out of nowhere. I gasp. These people ARE like me. Sure, we don't have the same powers, but we do have powers.
Fight time! Medusa hissed as they fired attack spells at her, and sprung into the air using her long tail. She landed behind them and swept her snaketail toward their legs to knock them down. "Be careful...", Needfyre cautioned fromt he sidelines. Orchidia the harpy hopped from side to side excitedly grinning from ear to ear.
I look at Samantha to see only worry and I crawled over to her after being knocked off my feet while keeping an eye on Chris to make sure he is alright. "No even if we kill it, it's still the Professor she'll be fine. She is stronger than us. And why do you look so worried?" I asked looking in Samantha's eyes and smiling. "And by the way do you know all of us?"
I ducked under the first attack from Medusa but was sent flying into the wall by a second. It took the wind out of me. But I still had plenty of fight left in me. I looked up at the Gym lights and froze them. I had an idea I then gathered the last bit of energy I had and shot a blast of pure force to cut the solid frozen lights down right on top of Medusa.
"Chris, I would have used a black hole on her, but I'm not sure if we are supposed to kill her or not.."
Samantha "No even if we kill it, it's still the Professor she'll be fine. She is stronger than us. And why do you look so worried? And by the way do you know all of us? "Well... I just got here, so I haven't gotten to meet all of you personally, but I think everyone's names... Dean?" I say while in my mind I am facepalming. What a terrible thing to say... Suddenly, the lights go out and I hear the sound of something crashing. I start to panick. I can't teleport without knowing where I'm going. Oh, what if it hits me...
Fight time! Medusa raised her shield to block the falling lights. They shattered harmlessly around her. Although the lights were burst, there was still light streaming through the high church windows and the eery glow formt he blue flames that encircled them. Now Medusa smiled grimly and pointed her sword at them. "Dieeee!", she hissed, and her eyes glowed even brighter than before. A pair of lightning bolts fired from her eyes into their midst and exploded with a resounding BOOM! "I'd kill her if I were you", Needfyre advised. Orchidia cackled gleefully.
I rubbed Samantha's hair as the light's from the windows came in. "Don't worry. We're here." I ran over to Chris and looked at him with anticipation. "Ready to go?!" I prepared my magic as now I was in a killing mood I looked at Christopher and said one important thing. "If we can get her in my black hole she will be ripped asunder in the matter of milliseconds."
I stood back up. I had burnt up all the magic I had with that earlier fight and that teleportation spell. I looked down at the broken glass and picked up the biggest piece I could find. It cut my hand but I would live. I let the other kids go at Medusa as I snuck around her hiding in the shadows. I charged in from the side without making a sound my and shoved the glass in her side.
Wyndii I sighed. Had no one read Greek myths here? I straightened my stance and focused my energy, preparing to raise a crystal that would show Medusa's reflection to herself to turn her to stone, but stiffened as i noticed a ghostly shape behind her. "Cole..." i choked, shivering. My brother. His dark eyes glinted with a hidden madness, and he grinned, revealing wolf-like teeth. Raising his hand, i felt power like fire surge through me. I screamed as my body buckled and changed. My eyes and jaws sharpened and my ears withered as my human frame was replaced by that of a dog-like creature. A hell-hound. Roaring, i snapped my bloody fangs and launched myself at Medusa, crystals stabbing up out of the ground as my four sibling's ghosts howled and changed, running alongside me. Our eyes glowed as they overlapped and bolted through my body, filling me with so much energy that i felt like i would burst. "Keeeawwoooooooooooo!" i howled, the sound coming like a scream from my throat as i circled Medusa, my hackles on end. My siblings completed the circle around her, surrounding her in a ring of glowing and flickering figures. We are G.A.I.A. We are the anti-mages! we screeched, a glowing ring beginning to form as fire licked across our bodies.
Samantha As Dean rubbed my hair soothingly, I started to feel calmer. There was actually plenty of light from the window. Enough for me to see the medusa firing her bolts of energy. Now that I was a bit calmer, my train of thought was returning. The objective was to defeat that... thing. Well, there's this thing I could do. I turn to Dean and whisper in his ear. "I'm going to teleport it to the ceiling. When it starts falling, you should open one of your black holes. You can do that, right?"
Fight time! Medusa was stabbed in the side. She cried out and swatted Dean away with the back of her hand--she was incredibly strong. Her side wound oozed thick green ooze, but she didn't seem overly injured. "Hit me!" Medusa faced the screaming student and hissed. She spit a glob of acid at him and followed it up with two bolts of lightning form her eyes.
I said yes, but I guess we all had different plans going on at different times. It seemed all of our plans were fucking each other over. As Mudusaa tried to hit me I turned into a dark cloud and her attacks went through me and I went behind her and used my impact to try and push her in my black hole. "Heh."
"Don't look in her eyes!" I shouted as I continued stabbing at her side with the glass. Blood leaking from her and from my hand. "Hey snake bitch Athena didn't curse good enoug in my opinion."
Wyndii I snarled and pounced, biting deeply into Medusa in an attempt to rip her head off. The green ooze that was her blood filled my mouth, but i burned it away with the fire that was wreathing around my body. "Kill-kill-kill!" i screeched insanely, hacking and slashing with my razor claws. My emaciated body blackened like it was coal, and my normally blue eyes turned blood-red. I was losing it. We are the Anti-mages! my siblings howled, attacking with me to strengthen my death-grip on the monster's throat. Mage absorbency! I thought, and my fangs immediately turned to crystal. Anything that touched them would turn to dust for loss of magic energy if i could hold on for another few seconds.
Fight time! Medusa was pushed. She spit with surprise and spiraled threw the air toward the black hole. Wyndii attacked her while she was off-balance, clawing and biting in wolf form, making her bleed rivers of green gunk, but otherwise she seemed unaffected. Medusa batted her on the head with the flat of her sword with tremendous force. She leaned back to strike a death blow with the point of her sword, but the force of the black hole was dragging her in. Her eyes widened with shock and she hissed. Her tail latched around Wyndii's midsection to anchor herself. "Careful!", Needfyre cried.
Samantha "Maybe we should let Wyndii do this and see how it turns out." I sighed in relief. People doing their own thing, I can work with that. Being the backup isn't really the best position either, but hey, it's what I got. I nod at Dean at canter to one of the corners of the gym. Let's hope she can do it, whatever she's doing.
Wyndii "Careful!" Needfyre cried as if scared for me. I suddenly felt like laughing. I was gonna die i was gonna die... A hyena's giggling bark erupted from my throat, and i yanked my head again, straining to pull off the monster's head. No one realized what a G.A.I.A's true power was -but they would now... My siblings howled as i yanked myself away from the monster, latching my claws deeply into the floor. "Lord of the Earth and Lord of the Nether, i call upon your power to end this fighting fetter. Lord of the Earth and Lord of the Nether, i call upon thee to kill the battle-steader...." A ring of light glowed around me, my fangs lengthening as my body changed into that of a saber-toothed tiger. I slashed and bit at Medusa's tail, cutting it clean in half. I watched her pitch backwards and felt my muzzle curl in victory as blood ran down my paws and neck. All of her energy had been absorbed into me, along with something else... I looked up as a small orb of glowing blue light began to surface under Medusa's skin. Her soul. The way a G.A.I.A gained power was by taking another's soul
"Oh shit!" I closed my black hole so that Wyndii wouldn't fall in. I got ubber pissed. "Samantha stay over there, Wyndii get the hell out of the way, Chris back up when you're weakened. I have they type of powers and strategy where I could take her down, but it is very dangerous. "Everybody, let me try my own thing." I look away from Madussa while running at her and I snatch the glass out of Christopher's hand and I put it in Madussa's face and I open up to black holes behind her. I stab the glass in one of her eyes since she was to smart to look at it. And I tried using my impact to push her into one of the black holes behind her except I used the force of a 18-wheeler going at 40mph. "Take this I said using the impact to push her out of my way and opening up two more black holes to her side. She has no where to run, but I have used my max of black holes for the next five minutes.
Finally my magic is back. I smiled and froze the ground so it would be easier to slide Medusa into the black hole. "Keep pushing!" I screamed as I coninuted freezing the ground and hoping she would slip up.
changing into my wolf form i added my wieght and strength behind that of Dean and Chris. moveing her ever closer to the black hole.
