Wydnii I dashed forewards as Frank came into the fray, my body changing from that of a saber-toothed tiger into a pitch-black werewolf of equal size and weight as him. Growling, i sank my teeth into the spot just above Medusa's collarbone to rip out the glowing orb that was her soul. Victory made me want to howl as new power surged through me like lightning, making my fur bristle and stand on end as i pushed harder and harder, the strength of my siblings' ghosts adding brute strength to my usually weak body as ice crawled down my spine along with the lightning now from their cold presence. Take the strength of your opponents by draining them of their magic, then take their soul to produce more enrgy for yourself. I remembered a male voice saying from the days i had simply been a lab animal -the fifth sucessful G.A.I.A created by their corporation. Mages can't hurt you if you take their magic away -then they are simply humans or other animals like you. This is your purpose -take away the advantage of what is the main predator in this world -for everything must become prey at some point. This is why we created you Wyndii... You and the others are the perfect beings...
Frank sinking my teeth into Medusa's arm just below the shoulder. the force of my bite severed her arm from her body. then i began pushing again.
I looked at all the people who messed up my plan by taking unnecessary steps to attack Madussa as she was already trapped. Frank biting her arm and Wyndii didn't need to steal her soul as she was about to go in the black hole. I close my black holes, seeing as how Madussa was dead anyway and if I wouldn't have Frank and Wyndii would have been sucked in and immediately killed. I was just a little angered they did all that extra. I put my hand on to my face to do and epic FACEPALM. I rubbed the back of my head and turned around not to face Madussa as she had a giant hole in her chest. "Samantha don't look at Madussa, you'll just see something you won't want to." Looks like all my hard work went to waste, I though to myself.
I grinned I really love this kind of stuff. The raw violence in me went off and I willed an multiple ice shurikens to send flying at Medusa's neck hoping to behead her. I also used my foot to cotinue too keep the ice flowing on the ground so Medusa would keep sliding around and maybe make her fall in the blackhole.
Frank seeing her beheaded made me howl with joy and i walked away from the body but the fight showed me something else, we couldnt take the faery bitch. not as disorganized as we are. but it was worth it this time. next time that disorganization would kill us.
Wydnii I growled as Medusa collapsed under me, blood dripping from my jaws. I liked it when prey struggled... Then suddenly i realized what i had just been doing and stiffened. "oh my god..." i breathed, shuddering as my paw began to burn. "No no no no.." looking down i saw the number 99 burned into my skin. Not caring what Frank thought i bolted, hiding under a bench and covering my face with my bloody paws. "Crap crap crap.... damn it Cole i told you not mess with my head!" I looked up as a boy's laughter filled the room. A tall man with black hair and dangerous eyes grinned at me, revealing a tattooed fang. "Sorry sis, but it was too good an opportunity to pass up. I needed to stretch my legs anyways -don't you agree Myndii, Syndii?" My jaw dropped as my other siblings appeared, their ghostly forms near-invisible but still there as two girls that were the spitting image of myself appeared along with another boy who was identical to Cole -Dole. "Yeah why did you have to be the one to survive the "Cleansing" as the Magic Council put it? I killed over three hundred soldiers and would'a finished em all if Doctor Gerald hadn't set off the bomb." Myndii said, sneering at me. Syndii nodded in agreement, and Dole just huffed, looking at Christopher with a mischievous intent. "Okay well, you guys deal with the baby I'm gonna have some fun." Dole said, walking over to Chris and leering at him, "Heh, lookee here -a common ice mage. Please -doesn't this school have more unusual students? Like a..." He turned and caught sight of Frank and grinned. "There we go -why didn't you take this one's soul Wyndii? It looks a lot tastier than that old snake-head's was." I shut my mouth and looked down. I knew better than to answer that kind of question. This was why i hated my life, i thought. It was always a competition to see who could devour the most souls before they were forced to hid in my body as ghosts. "Dole, just leave them alone. I don't intend on becoming a Shadow G.A.I.A." I said quietly. "Oh? but you just need one more soul and the good Doctor's work will be complete!" Myndii whined, pointing at me, "See -you only need one little soul and you can become invincible -no mage will ever hurt you again Wyndii!" "I don't care -I never wanted to hurt people in the first place!" I yelled, my eyes shiny with tears as i reverted back into my human body. "I don't want to hurt anyone! That's why i told Johanna i should just die! I'm only a threat to this world!" Pushing myself deeper under the bench, i covered my face to silence the sobs that threatened to come out. My body shook violently, and all i wanted then was just to dissapear forever.
I glared at Dole. I didn't like him he had the same arrogant look in his eye like Jeeny whatever her name was and managed to piss me off like Wyndii did. Wait I looked at the rest of Wyndii's family they all seemed like complete asses. "Hey ass family, do you have a problem with me? I don't like you Wyndii but I like your family even less. A family of asses!" I said angirly. Hey I call it like I see it.
Fight Over! The Medusa apparition could not survive the onslaught of attacks. She was ripped into, hit and beheaded. Finally her body disolved into a myriad of golden sparks that fizzled out. The last thing to go was her head--she scowled and hissed and her eyes glowed threateningly. Then it exploded and snakes slithered all over the floor! "That is quite enough", Needfyre said. She touched her broach again. The snakes were engulfed by flames and burnt to crisps. Needfyre smiled and eyed her studnets. "Excellant job. The Medusa is a formidable enemy, but I doubt she ever faced such a group of powerful sorcerers. As a reward for your performance, you'll all get dessert with your supper tonight." Orchidia rolled her eyes as if to say, They don't deserve a reward, and then she flew up to the ceiling to circle like a vulture and watch them leave. The dining hall table was set with luke-warm tomato soup and hunks of bread. After, Needfyre snapped her fingers and a platter of cheese cake appeared. They each got a equal part with a sliced kiwi or strawberry on top. When they were done, Needfyre dismissed them by saying, "If you can behave yourselves, you don't have to go directly to bed. One the second floor there is a common room that you can hang out in, til such time as I send you to bed. If you can behave yourselves. Do not dissapoint me..." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Moments later the students were standing in the common room. It was on the second floor, a large rectangular room with dusty Victorian couches and wing chairs, a silver and ebony Ouija board, a huge fireplace and a faded burgundy rug. There were also candles everywhere, on the mantle place, along the wall, on tabletops. They burned with soft yellow light but never seemed to drip. Needfyre left them alone.
Well we have all this time to ourselves I thought as Wyndii's family apparitions vanished as the new room we were in appeared. "Hey Wynddi, Christopher, Samantha, Frank. Maybe we should be good this time before we all get put in the detention universe or whatever it is you went to, Chris." I still wanted to see what our new arrival could do, so I would try my best to stay close to her and also get to know her. And stop the feud between Chris and Wyndii before it got out of hand.
I snorted at Dean's commen and stalked over to the Ouija board. I was never sure if these things were real or not and if they actually worked it probably only let you contact low level spirits. I began to fool around with the thing and nothing seemed to be happening. I began thinking............maybe if I put some power into it. I began concentrating my magic into the board "If there are any spirits come forth!" I shouted repeatedly hoping to get some sort of contact.
"If there are any spirits come forth!" The Ouija board shook and the silver arrow moved around the board from letter to letter. It spelled out, 'READY OR NOT', and then the board board cracked and Jenny Greenteeth appeared. She smiled at all of them and her teeth were in fact tinged green. "So this is what the inside of Mystik School looks like...", Jenny commented. She made a face. "Old Needfyre has a qeustionable taste in decor. So, hello itty-bitty sorcerers! You know me! Oh, don't get in a fuss, I won't bite...yet." Her eyes turned dark and she levitated to the floor. "Who summoned me...and why?", she said slowly.
"It was Chris, and because he is an idiot." I said as I pointed to Chris while looking at Jenny. "You know Jenny I have nothing against you, but you're lucky we aren't allowed to kill you...You seem like a threat." I started to go back to reading my book near the fireplace to relax and try to improve my new technique.
I stared in wide eyes for a moment and I quickly shook my head and shot out of my chair. "Your that bitch that tried to kill me in the forest!" I shouted as I started gathering energy. I don't know how I summoned her but she is here so I might as well get revenge.
Frank seeing that feary bitch agian i changed and started to circul around behind her while Chris was getting ready to attack
Wydnii After the incident with my siblings i had gone quite numb to anythign going on around me. Then when Jenny appeared and Frank and Chris looked ready to pounce on her my eyebrows rose in surprise. Sighing, i waved my hand and put a crystal wall up around Frank and Chris to stop them. "Needfyre told us not to get into trouble, guys." i said in a reasonable tone. "And even Jenny probably knows that it would be a bad idea to piss Needfyre off -no offence." I walked over to a chair and sat down, grabbing a book to read. "Now Chris please stop cursing it's hurting my ears and i've already been kicked around by my family quite enough." I shivered as i remembered how they colud appear in my room every night to torture me -thus the unknown warning that Johanna had given Needfyre in that note. "You irresponsibly called a Spirit here, and I think Jenny is the only one on this island -so at least give her that respect that she hasn't killed you yet." I looked at Frank because i knew that along with Chris i was gonna have a pissed-off werewolf to deal with now too. "And i don't care what you do to me i've had plenty of experience with being torn to shreds by a hellhound -and being burned by a pheonix at the same time. Sorry but i doubt you could make me feel any more pain than that experience." I sighed, placing the book back. I should probably avoid any nice furniture if that was going to happen again tonight. The ghost-image of myself appeared again and waved at Jenny, and i ignored her when she made a perverted joke about Frank. Sitting on the floor near the fireplace, i prepared myself for my fate.
Frank sighing i shook my head "you think im gonna try to kill you when you make since? come on im not that bad" i say as i change back into my human form. "can you relsease me now?" looking at her and putting on one of my best smiles. i was pissed but she was right, wich pissed me off more but theres no reason in hurting somone just cuase their right.
"Wyndii let me the hell out of here now!" I screamed in fury. "This damn thing tried to murder us and she is standing right there!" I screeched as I started forming ice on my hand and slammed into the crystals with everything I had hoping shatter the wall. "Jenny if your as vicious as they say you are, prove yourself duel me." I exclaimed. I don't know about Frank, Dean and Wyndii but I wanted some revenge.
Dean "You two need to calm down, we'll get her eventually but not right now. It's not the time. But trust me, I definatley do want to put her down. And we will but it would be in our best interest to anger the Professor. And we couldn't kill her either way, you heard about the plants." I wanted revenge to, but I think we could beat her if we tried hard enough. But, right now I wanted to talk to her, see her way of thinking..
"You think I give a damn about professors or this island I'll freeze half this place to get what I want. I want her now not later!" I screamed as I coninuted to pound away at that damn crystals with now raw magical force hoping for them to shatter. I was smiling I loved it when I got to cut loose "Jenny show me power, show me just how dangerous you really are!" I said as I gathered up all the energy I could.
Frank looking at Dean i said "i did calm down. but next time i see her shes dead the plants can regrow." i said still waiting on Wyndii to release me.
Wydnii I let Frank go but kept Chris in his cage. "Chris you may not realize it but when you touch that it drains your magic power -so cool off ice boy." "And no Frank, Spirits are needed for plants and other things to thrive -i know because i have a mix of all different spirits in me. If you want to keep being able to hunt out there you better leave Jenny alone -without her plants all the animals will die." I said, my eyes glowing slightly in reaction to the energy Chris was inadvertently sending into me. "When i was created by G.A.I.A corp they instilled fragments of DNA from all races into my body -so i can adapt to any situation almost instantly, thus my..." I looked at my hand which changed into a paw, a claw, and a portion of wing within several seconds before reverting back to its original shape. "...shape-shifting abilities. Taking energy from my opponents was just one thing i stuck with as my main power -i can use fire or anything else you can imagine. That's also why the Magic Council is after me because unlike my siblings i was not instilled with the desire to destroy all sorcerers but they do not believe me. I had to kill 83 soldiers to get away from the last time they found me..." I shivered as i remembered how i had not wanted to hurt them, but the instinct to survive had been too strong, thus i had killed all of them. Turning into a sleek black wolf i curled up on the couch and rested my head on my for-paws, watching Frank with glowing blue eyes. I didn't know why but this form seemed the most comfortable at the moment and i wanted to see his reaction. I buried my muzzle in my paws to cover up the silly grin that tweaked my mouth. Boys are strange. I noted. They can get pissed off or act reasonable while girls always listen to reason -so how is it that i want to drive him crazy all of a sudden when i can smell that he's mad? Bad girl! I growled as i realized i was beginning to think like my twin, who was laughing herself silly behind the couch.
Frank smiling, the only real smile ive worn in years, i walked over and set down next to Wyndii "its better to be a wolf aint it. all you worries go away, and killing is much more fun while your a wolf."reaching over and scratching her head, much like she had done mine a little while ago. then getting lost in thought while still scratching her head.
"Let me out Wyndii or I'm going to kill you when I'm done with Jenny!" I shouted "Draining magic? Dammit. I continued pounding away at the crystals in rage but now I was simply kicking it and punching it with my bare knuckles. "I don't give a damn about the animals in the forest all I want is power the power to reduce people like you and Jenny here to ash. You know what your problem is Wyndii you spend a lot of time acting like your life is so hard but you know what? Truth is with all the power you have you could become like a god I want it!" I cried as continued slamming my knuckles into the crystals. "You complain to much you should be grateful about the power you have because if I had it then killing my parents would have been a lot easier." I said smiling
Frank looking up at Chris "you killed em hugh? mine were abandoned me and try and kill her youll be tired after Jenny and i wont even have to try killing you." i say while still scratching Wyndii's head.
