@Raven484 and @Indarican - sorry for the late reply, I have just come back from my holiday I will invite you to my cabin in a moment!
I'm already in a cabin, but I'm excited about working on a story I started for NaNo a number of years ago. I'm spending this month doing outline work (which I hate, but is going surprisingly well for this story) and figuring out who the bad guys are and why. Been mind mapping and thinking about that that and have come up with some ideas, as well as more scenes for the story.
Sounds like you are ready to get writing, haha! I need to get back into being so organised but I have enjoyed my time away from my Camp NaNo plans to soak up the rich inspiration of the hills and countryside of the Welsh border ... getting back into my routine will be difficult though. Good luck this Camp and enjoy your cabin
@Love_Aud @Kinzvlle @BoddaGetta @datahound2u - are any of you taking part in the upcoming July Camp NaNo? If you are, would you like to be part of a 'private' cabin that me and my friend have set up? Unfortunately, we only have six spaces remaining at the moment, and my friend is hoping to add a couple people she knows into the cabin over this weekend, but if you are interested in joining the cabin then let me know
@lukecage25 - hey, I was wondering if everything was okay? You were part of the cabin but now the site says you aren't and my invites to you keep disappearing. It's okay if you have changed your mind about the cabin.
@Sasziza - hey, did you still want to be a part of my Camp NaNo cabin? It's okay if you have changed your mind.
Heh kinda.flaked out on last camp so wasn't to sure about doing this one. I do have something I'm working on though, so if there's still room in the cabin.
That's okay, we all do it sometimes, haha. There is still room in the cabin right now so if you want to create your project on the Camp NaNo site then I will be happy to send you an invite into the cabin
Project made, just waiting for the invent. Hopefully I`ll be able to stick with it now that school is a non-qualifying factor for the moment.
Camp NaNoWriMo is a part of NaNoWriMo (held in November). The Camps are held in April and July and vary from the November NaNo in a few ways. They still conform to the challenge of writing a set number of words during the particular month. However, in the Camps you become part of a virtual 'cabin' which usually includes 10 other members who are also writers; which is pretty good for a support group and a bit of competition. You can also choose your own personal word count goal (whereas the November one is set at 50,000 words for everyone) which again is good for obvious reasons. You can find out more and sign up on their website: campnanowrimo.org
There are now 2 spaces remaining in the private cabin that me and my friend have set up for the July Camp. These spaces are available for anyone who wants to partake in the challenge with us and the other writers from this site who have also joined the cabin. Let me know if you (or if you know someone who) would like to claim one of these spaces
@lukecage25 @ChaosReigns @Cave Troll @Sasziza @Nidhogg @Love_Aud @BoddaGetta @datahound2u - there are still two empty spaces in my 'private' cabin for next month's Camp NaNoWriMo. Please let me know if any one of you would like to fill one of those spaces!
Hey everyone, Camp is just around the corner now so I wanted to say 'Yay', haha, and also good luck to all of you who are planning on staying awake to write at midnight and also another load of good luck to the people who have to wait until tomorrow to get writing ... I will see you there
Good luck to you too! I'm kind of panicking at the moment about the prospect of writing tomorrow, but hopefully that feeling will dissipate by the end of today.
