    Need A Name

Discussion in 'Character Development' started by BlueR, Jun 12, 2008.

Lol I need help.. I can't think of a name for an MC.

The MC is a selfish bounty hunter who only goes where the money goes. Even though he's one of the best at what he does, he is easily distracted on his missions (for instance: he tries to steal a nice couch that he found in the main antagonist's lair). His main focus is money and he takes pride in his bounty hunting.

    So far, anyway.

Oh yes... the story i set in the future. The technology would be that of the stereotypical sci-fi movie, so it would be around that time... 2020 that era (I'm not planning on stating the actual timeframe of the story in the story).

The story will be set on a planet similiar to Earth; not Earth, but exactly like it (an Earth in a different galaxy, if you will). Aliens and humans both live on the planet. The reason for this is to come up with an entirely fictional universe.

It's tough to find just the right name sometimes. Good luck with your story!

Farlan is great. :) I'd choose that. Also, he could be Farlan Hunter or Farlan Damon. :)

I usually play with words/names I already know. Simple name like Eric could be turned into Erico, Eraico, Eris etc. :)

A lot of futuristic names are chosen by combining two common names now.

    Matthew ---Carson----Matson.

    Jonny---David----Jonvid.

So, you could try that. I wouldn't suggest either of those names, but they were the first to come to mind.

I like Farlan Hunt. Could be the Marlboro man of the future.
