I have a piece in mind about a character who faces extrodinary obsticles that are beyond what would be expected of a human being. Think: Homer's Odyssey, but more modern. So I want this story to be filled with tons of hyperbole, like walking 1,000 miles, for example. I've chipped away at this one off and on for a couple years now, but I'm really having difficulty making so much hyperbole really "live". I know it's very ambitous for an inexperienced writer, but I think when done right the results are literally epic. Any advice?
Just that when it comes to hyperbole too much is never enough, over the top is still too low, and you need to shoot from the hip with all guns blazing!!! Cheers.
