I will be in touch with our winner and all other finalists in the next few days. Thanks again to everyone who participated, either by entering or by voting in this contest. Also, thank you to the contest judges who selected the finalists. And most of all congratulations to casperpearl for winning the contest! Great story!
Thanks, Cogito! I’m really excited to have won, especially after reading the competition and knowing I was up against some fantastic stories. I think everyone is a winner though, because now we all have one more story to share with the world. A special thanks to Daniel for hosting this awesome contest. Without competitions like this, we starving writers would be faced with high entry fees. So I admire the fact that Daniel provided everything for our benefit. Also, many thanks to those who voted for my entry. I love entertaining people through my writing, and to see it working makes me really, really happy! Best, C. P.
I just read the story, after I looked to the right of the forum. I was hooked as soon as I started reading, truly! Congratulations casperpearl! It was a very interesting and good read!

I enjoyed your story, casperpearl. Unfortunately, I don't think I was able to vote (or perhaps couldn't figure out how it was supposed to work), but I would have voted for yours. Congratulations. I hope to read many more of your pieces in the future here. TL
