Hello, I wanted to drop by and say hi. I enjoy writing and reading. I haven't been published and don't really want to be. (How about that, a writer who doesn't want to be published) I write short stories as a hobby and something enjoyable to do. We have fun and games! Hi Rusty, this is a great place to congregate whether you write for an audience of one or wish to publish for an audience numbering in the thousands. Wander around, kick the tires, read some submissions and reviews, and get to know the strange but friendly denizens of this site. It's best, but not required, that you meet people here and even review a couple of submissions before posting your own works for comments. That way, you'll have a better idea how to profit from the reviews, and when to stick to your original instincts; and you are more likely to get a member to put the time and effort in that makes a review most helpful. So welcome, hope to see you around often, and most importantly, have fun!
I reckon, though I'm unsure, that I agree with you and wouldn't really want to be published, though if the offer came along you can bet your life I'd say yes! Welcome to the site!
