New Lease of Life!

I have unashamedly copied this from a post I put on another site, simply because there are only so many introductions you need to make.

Bonjour!

I'm a fresh, fragile young writer, not even in my twenties, looking for new friends, inspiration and advice. I've just pulled myself away from depression and a career choice that, despite its fantastic prospects, I had slowly begun to detest.

I'm unemployed now, but I have enough conviction and determination to own a Range Rover that it will not be long before I pick myself up out of the gutter!

Naturally, I love to write. It's as my hero, Jim Grant (or Lee Child) says: fiction is the purest form of entertainment. I'm quite the escapist, and I have always loved to read, losing myself in the story, letting it play like a movie in my head, knowing the characters as though they were a part of my own life.

Anyway, enough cheese... I'm very much a tragedy and horror writer (perhaps, but not strictly, a reflection of my own experiences with which I have hitherto had to cope), but it is not uncommon for me to stray into other genres.

So, to summarise, hello, I'm here, I'm loud, and I hope to jump right in and hear what you think! I hope to get published some day, and maybe, with perseverance, get a career out of something I dearly love.
