This is really screwed up. This young woman was beaten to death because she was dressed as a Goth. How f$%^$ up is that? The intolerance towards people because of what they wear is unbelievable. People should be judged by their actions rather than what they are wearing. Pathetic really.

Probably, but the criminals are usually released way before what their original sentence states.

The closemindedness of the people that commit these attacks is appauling. It shocks me still that in this day and age we have to put up with this. The way a person dresses, the way a person thinks, what music a person listens to, what beliefs a person has etc shouldn't dictate how we treat them. We shouldn't discriminate or prejudice...

It's disgusting. I don't particularly agree with the EMO choice or the type of death thrash metal music or maybe how some Goths cut their hair and wear make-up. But it's just my personal taste and I don't see the person as bad if they choose to dress how they want and listen to what they want. These people tend to be quite nice and unless they do something particularly evil or horrible, then they should be left to their choices.

I couldn't have put it more elegantly myself.
