Yeah, I work in Manhattan and I see animals on public transport all the time. Is there even a law against it? I was under the impression that as long as it fits in a bag, it’s okay, and before that it didn’t even need to be in a bag.

Before 9-11 security was a lot less strict, you could literally wear a gun onto a plane.

You can't on the subways (or any public transportation) in Los Angeles, so I spaced and forgot animals are allowed on the subway in NYC. (I did know you could bring food and drinks, though, which you also cannot in L.A..)

Yeah, I accounted for that in another scene. ;-)

Being that he's a Russian during the Cold War, MC is very concerned about being a law-abiding wanna-be citizen. He's extremely careful not to let anything jeapordize his chances of becoming an American citizen, which leads to some comedic moments.

Also, see my response to @Homer Potvin above. (I spaced and forgot animals are OK on NYC subways.)

(I see what you did there. ;-) ) But never a Shenanigator. They strongly object to being sneaked in anywhere, much less stuffed into a bag, pocket, or coat lining.

I completely forgot animals are allowed on the subway in NYC, and now that you mention it, I remember seeing the Instagram pics of creative ways people stuffed their large dogs into bags when the bag rule went into effect.

    Thanks, guys!!!!
