    Offhand or offhanded

    Offhand is an adverb and offhanded is an adjective according to how I read this Free Dictionary entry.

    But in your example, offhand sounds fine as an adjective so I'm probably not reading that entry correctly.

    They can both be used as adjectives and are synonyms, so either one is fine.
