One beastie from the past to live again!

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Wreybies, Jun 27, 2008.

If you could bring back one extinct beastie, what would it be?

The giant deer (or Irish elk). The largest deer that ever lived.

Is it weird that I only want it to become unextinct so I can hunt it?

    Saber Tooth Tiger! :D

And I don't think it'd be weird to want it back just to hunt it FlakeandFins. I think it would be a mighty fine hunt. That beasty looks like an overgrown moose. haha

Dodos are actually related to pigeons. And from what I hear, pigeons taste pretty good. I remember that I always wanted some pet pigeons. Oh, wait! I still do!

Hmmmm...I think I'd bring back the Leviathan, the fire-breathing beast from the Bible. I just want to see a dinosaur shoot flames out of his mouth. :D

Pigeons for eating? Aren't they diseased or something?
And why would you want such a nasty bird for a pet?
And why would you want such a nasty creature back to terrorize the world?
And why do I keep asking nasty questions?

I would to for the Tasmanian Wolf or the Mammoth. Both, it appears, could be possible with the direction genetics and cloning and the like is going. Maybe in my lifetime.

I want the saber tooth as well. Just so I can have one as a pet so that it can eat my ex :D LOL! But seriously, this is the only animal I would want to come back. It is such an amazing creature, and I would die a happy woman if I ever got to see one in real life. :D
