Great posting everyone! I think that the post of the day goes to Backbiter. I loved how he took Cheddar's NPC and not only tied in some backstory for his scharacter, but also got the group back on plot. Well done! I liked Faramar's attitude toward Eslana, and I just can't wait to see oh Pyree reacts to it all.
I second that! Interesting thing you've done with the snake. I'll try to get my post up soon. Although I'm having trouble figuring out what should happen next. There are too many people involved to write out an accurate post. Perhaps some of us should collaborate?
Great post Backbiter, I was just concerned as to whether Rodrick delivered a "skull shattering" kick to the side of Riley's head or not? As to the progression of plot Rodrick will more than happily kill who ever sent that snake.
Would Rodrick be willing to create some sort of truce between our characters, or would he continue fighting until disabled/victorious?
Lol Me too. except the part about posting. I'm going to sleep, then eat something, then look for a second job, then figure out which direction to take the story. But anyways, I'm back too. And like always, the posts of everyone else are good reads. Thanks for keeping my boring life interesting.
Love how a snake doesn't seem to bothered by Erif's attack, plus it was Erif who went after it first.... so that kinda doesnt make sense but it doesn't matter. Anyway will post now.
Oh, I should also note that telepathy or any variety of communication via conciousness will not work on Rodrick, he's an embodiment of an ascended, which cuts off external commucations via telepathy.
That' a good point Magnan, and something to be careful of. It is important to make sure you have a clear idea of what is going on in the scene before making your posts. It can be a little tough though when there is one dominant enemy that everyone wants a piece of. But with the snake gone we won't have to worry. But don't worry, the snake is a great character in his own right I'll make sure he comes back
Oh wow, I'm sorry about that, Magnan. I think that detail must've completely slipped my mind while writing. I must admit, I wasn't completely myself when I last posted, so it's entirely possibly that I missed your post. Again, I'm sorry; I'll try to keep a bit more focused next time.
Got a little carried away there... that was a super long post. @AreaDrill, could you initiate our plan for Faramar as we discussed? If Faramar makes the request, flippantly or otherwise, I'll have Raef carry it out in the next post.
Hooray, I'm being targeted! This should be fun I'm going to refrain from posting until Rustic or Cheddar do, just for the sake of variety - even though Magnan's last post was directed at me, I figure that one of the others can intervene as well.
I should have my next post up relatively soon. I'm just waiting for Rustic to confirm a few dialogue points from Rodrick.
Good post MrMr. I liked how you focused on Thum, but then kept the continuity at the end by questioning Igor's behavior.
Got my next post in; sorry if it seems a little rushed. The conversation has been collaborated on, of course.
It looks like everyone is converging on the orb at the same time. This is either going to be really good, or really chaotic. Maybe both.
Cheese, Magnan and BackBiter, what do you guys think about us forming some sort of group? If so we should have something edgy for our name like the Order/Guardians of Pyritus. Or the Battle-toads?
If Stephen Erikson hadn't used the name Bonehunters or Bridgeburners in his fantasy series, I would have chosen that. We need an name that reflects our characters in some ways. The Order of Pyritius just doesn't seem right, as Magnafire would be bemused by that name. I agree its needs an edge.
The reclaimers? CoH Creed of hunters? The Portal Collective? Or just the collective? The Riftlings? The Fire and Iron alliance? The Mighty Ducks?
