I'm currently generating a list of baddies for you all to fight once you reach Magnalian. So far I've got a savage zombie and a man-eating plant. Any special requests? Muahahaha
I vote we fight that snake again. It's always fun fighting a reoccurring enemy. Also, if you're lacking enemies, dragons are always nice. There's already been one, why not more?
The snake is definitely in, but I'm not sure Mag' would bring in another dragon after what happened with Riley... But then, he will be told that Riley is dead... We'll see, but I definitely decided to bring back a 'smart ogre' who is pissed that y'all killed his brother.
This looks fun. Might not have too much free time, but this looks as if it's definitely worth it. Does character intro/bio have to go up consecutively? Or can I post a bio followed by the first scene later on?
Hi JPGriffin, The character bio is best suited to go up before or at the time of your first story post. That way we know what your character is like before he/she does anything. Glad you're considering joining up!
Sydrian Darkblood Name: Sydrian Darkblood Age: 27 Years Sex: Male Appearance: Sydrian Redwing is part of the Avialos, a race of human-bird hybrids who have adapted and evolved after millennia of war and peace. The Avialos are known for their strong beaks and feathery hides, though they lack the wings they had lost the need for after years of easy hunting and gathering of food. Most Avialos are named for their feather colors, and Sydrian’s is a clean overall maroon, thus the name. His eyes stand out as a bright electric blue, contrasting sharply with his feathers, and his bright yellow beak also shines out from the dark coat. He stands about 5’6 on two legs, though he will often shift to four when exhausted. Both hands and feet are talons, sharp and leathery palms with viciously sharp points of bone adorning three forward-facing digits, a smaller one adorning the backwards-facing one. He often conveys confidence, poise, and honor, though nobody ever mistakes him for a poor fighter. Personality: Sydrian is a scholar by nature. When he isn’t learning of new techniques or studying past lives of ancestors, he often opts to visit with bards and travelers, listening to stories of distant lands and creatures never seen by his eyes. He’s one to put his trust into his friends without question, though he is quick to resent those who insult or otherwise dishonor him. His analytic personality means that he’ll rarely rush in blindly, unless his anger tells him otherwise (which rarely does). He fights with honor, kills enemies honorably, and anything less than honorable is barbaric in his eyes. In relation to the Orb, he doesn’t seek it out for the power it grants, but to discover the nature of its magic, possibly to recreate it should he find the need. History: Sydrian was selected at birth to be a servant of the high Lord Craetos at the end of the lord’s second decade in power. As a servant, Sydrian was forced to, at first, perform menial tasks under the supervision of the elders in each area- thus the need for Elder Cooks, Maids, etc. Once a servant came of age (24), they were chosen to serve lifelong in the field where they preformed best. Sydrian was known for his avid learning and intuition, and so he was chosen to act as a scholar to Craetos. This meant long hours and little recognition, but when the Lord needed more specialized knowledge, the scholars became invaluable. Sydrian soon became prominent amongst his local peers, and to make a profit Sydrian acted as a consultant whenever he was not needed- which was often. His story begins with one of these lulls in his life, where his work has started to lose the charm it once had previously. Powers/Equipment: The Avialos are, by nature, magical, though few have ever learned of how to control such magics. Sydrian had adapted his untamed potential to help his knowledge, helping to glimpse at texts still closed and to memorize those he had read once years before. Beyond that, magic escapes them, except for the powers held by artifacts and other objects of similar nature. The Avialos in itself is a weapon, specialized in fast-paced combat and precise, piercing blows with talons, claws, and, while a bit more risky and/or clumsy to use, beak. I apologize for the length of the bio, but when a good idea comes, it really can't be restricted. Welcome aboard JP! We are nearing an epic battle at the lair of Magnalian the Summoner, who holds the Orb. Make your way there and if yo desire, make some friends along the way! Syndrian is sure to have a ball learning of all the different races that have arrived before him and the worlds from which they've come!
If it isn't too much of a problem, I might try a hand at this. I've been reading some of the posts and it definitely sounds interesting. I'm wondering if there is any creed or place you want me to start at? Once I get an answer I can fill out my character sheet. Plus, is there a set list of races or something, or do we create our own race?
Hi Blizzard, I'm glad you're considering joining up! There is no set area that you must start in, although there are two things you should keep in mind: 1) You can't start within the ravine, the portals near Magnalian's home have been destroyed 2) It's a good idea however, to start in the jungle or near the ravine, otherwise you might miss some action as your character tries to get there. And about your character: Make him/her/(it?) whatever you want! This game makes anything a possibility (within the limits of the rules of course). You can come from any universe, be it some fantasy world you conjured up, or some alien planet. See you around!
Alright then.~ Here's my character sheet. She lives in the jungle if you couldn't tell by all the times I used tree's and nature. xD Name: Sennet Lonnet Age: Unknown (Though looks like a child) Gender: Female Appearance: Sennet is a Spritzling, an uncommon race that shy away from social gathering. They are short in stature and usually intertwined with nature, using the large canopies of leaves to hide under. They have bright pinkish-white skin, much like a Caucasian human, with a defining feature of small white freckles around their nose and eye area. They have animal-like looking eyes usually in strange colors. Sennet's eyes are a bright hot pink color. She has smooth hair, dark blonde in color with small bands to hold her pigtails which are usually left down over her chest area. Her outfit consists of a leather tank top with a spider silk jacket over it. She wears tough hide boots with her silk tights which have fasteners on the front to hold her skirt in place. Personality: Sennet is a curious Spritzling and very adventurous. She seems without a care and with a smile on her face everyday though she occasionally worries about her friends and family. She wishes to join a group of people with the same interests as her and go on an immense journey. History: Sennet was born under the trees and while continue to remain there unless given the Purposa Destina, a medal signifying her deeds for the Spritzling's which also gives her the freedom to walk out of that forest and roam the world. She has 3 sisters, 2 brothers and an old man, who they now call Father. Both parent's abandoned the children who were raised by aforementioned father. Powers/Equipment: Sennet has a small fairy called Clementine (Not important, don't worry about including her in many posts. xD) who gives her advice on what to do. Clementine looks like a mouse with wings and has a blue aura surrounding her. When angered or fighting, Sennet uses Clementine as some sort of chakram, using it to knock back enemies and channel magical aura. Sennet also carries around a hat, which when used, causes two very large gloved hands to appear above her head. She can channel the aura around her to crush enemies within the palms of these hands. Sennet also carries around a pocket watch, a satchel filled with useless (but useful to Sennet) junk and a hunk of cheese. (Sorry this was so long. xD)
Does this mean that Sennet is a native of Magnalian's world? Or is it a different jungle in a different world? Just curious.

It looks like Sennet will bring a very interesting divergence from the dark drama of characters like Igor. @Morvane, 'Space girl' (Pyree) is with 'that tailed man' (Faramar, who also has wings), and the shadow bird (Raef) but the birds owner Greywind is currently elsewhere with Riley.

Quick question: Are there any specific enemies that should be included, or just whatever feels appropriate?
In the beginning a handful of un-described creatures were set loose that would be attracted to the magic of the portals and hence be there to gobble up any incoming heroes. What exactly each one was, has been made up by the players. So far there has been a dragon, an ogre, and a giant evolving snake. Come up with whatever you would like. The Nasgar snake is still available for player control, but try to read all the posts that include him as he has become his own character.
Evelyn (the elf) is ready to help if she is needed somewhere. Otherwise i'm just going to wait for the next round.
