Its never a bad time, some times are just better than others, and this is one of those more better times... if that makes any sense...
Okay, I began transporting Eslana. Not sure what Magnafire could possibly do, but he was the only one nearby. @losthawken: Would Magnalian consider keeping Kitza with him for the time being? I want to do something with Kitza, and I've mostly been keeping his thoughts and such a mystery for now. I'm thinking that for the plot and such, it might be better for Kitza to be away from Magnalian, but I'd like to hear your thoughts first.
The link made between Eslana and Magnafire, via dragons and stuff, could cause Magnafire, to end up where she is. I'll look at the newish posts, and see what I can do.
Name: Grand Magister Zaca’reb Age: Born in the year of the Flaming Sun, 29 summers ago. Gender: Male Appearance: Zaca’reb is a young human wizard, with black hair which is slicked back into a long ponytail. His eyes shine vibrant brown colour, almost orange. His attire consists of a black robe trimmed in a blood red colour, and dark grey shoulder pads depicting gargoyles, which connect to his long black cloak. Personality: Zaca’reb is a young and powerful wizard. He is blinded by his talents, believing that the realm is in danger from itself and he is their saviour. Arrogant, cunning and devious, this once prosperous student is now twisted by power and hell bent on commanding the five kingdoms of Glendrel under one ruler. History: Zaca’reb showed great potential for magic at an early age, enlisting with the Magi of Doraleth before 6 summers had passed. He was taught at great length that every living being was magnificent and deserved life, however Zaca’reb became conflicted by the contradictions between such teachings and the goals of the Magi; most notably the task of bringing eternal peace to the realm. He silently struggled on, observing all the civil wars, murders and corruption in the land. Finally, when he became an agent (Magister) of the Master Wizards, he was granted freedom across the realm to carry out their will, but instead began secretly murdering those he suspected to be disturbing the peace. Powers/Equipment: Zaca’reb favours fire based magic, and can either concentrate his power into a high energy flame beam, which can cut through almost anything, or let the power explode from his entire body, engulfing the close area around him in fire. He can also encase himself in a fire shield which absorbs most materials and energies. None of these skills can be used at the same time and each take a few seconds to cast. No doubt he will have other magic that can be used with these powers, but they will have a much lesser effect.
Welcome to the game Fan7astic! Nice first post. @Morvane, Shifty, losthawken: Feel free to PM me for any interactions between Dras/Katsu/Magnalian and Atlas. Let's get our group to Theta Prime.
Nature, it's short but I hope its ok. The Magnan has had to time to gather his thoughts, so he's colder but fine now. Erif is waking up Oh and LTW Magnafire also stepped through the portal, he will be there also, I read your post, and he didn't seem to be mentioned, I'll have another read, I miss details at times.
I'll have to double post, I replied, now to see what happens next, and see how I can bring Wilde into this.
I cant help notice a reference to Tony Ballantyne's novel Capacity - Schroedinger boxes! Edit: Apologies for my er triple post. Oops.
You'll have to point out the reference, I've never read the book. I was basing him of schroedingers cat.
Hey all, sorry for going MIA I screwed something up in the real world and then the Memorial Day Camping trip snuck up on me. I'll catch up on the reading as soon as possible!
yeah I went MIA as well :/ had things due and so had to stop procrastinating. I still have things to do, but I'll monitor the threads and should get a post up soon.
Basically in divergence there are these dark seeds, that feed and flourish on intelligence, they then form BVBs (Black Velvet Bands) that kill you by suffocating you. The Schroedinger cats are based off the schroedinger boxes( Dark seeks), the cats are unaffected by the plant and can eat or kill them. Its hard to explain.
I just got caught up and WOW. You guys are amazing! This new chapter is going to ROCK. Now I just have to figure out where I left Greywind and Magnalian...
Atlas is now officially on Theta Prime, and in a little bit of a situation. Looking forwards to the new chapter.
No apology needed, that was a great post! I should prob wait for nature to post before waking Magnalian up, but I cant wait!
Nad'Hegas This character has a lot of strange elements that I think can open the possibilities for some interesting narrative, but I can see how it would be problematic. His history is undisclosed here but I can provide more details to whoever needs them. I am avoiding revealing more as I think there is a lot of potential in keeping it secret until such a time where it can be used to impact the character in a meaningful way. Name: Nad’Hegas Age/Gender: Unknown. (I'm a hispter like that, I don't need no templates) Appearance: No one is quite able to accurately portray Nad’Hegas. While he possesses a physical body, the more minute details of it seem to be unable to produce a single identifiable image on the observer’s mind. All that remains of him in one’s memories are his meager words, and whatever impact his actions had in the surrounding world, though often they don’t seem significant enough to be worthy of mention. Personality: Nad’Hegas is not so much calm and quiet as he is the very embodiment of subtlety. The common observer would describe him as reserved, the rare few who ever shared more than a few hours of his company are often so disturbed by his reclusiveness that they start to doubt their ability to track his actions. History: Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of Nad’Hegas is his own inability to register meaningful thoughts of him own conscience. His own actions and the motivations behind them are as elusive to him as his appearance and personality are to everyone who he comes into contact with. His mind is fixated in a single goal. This fixation is so powerful that Nad’Hegas isn’t much interested in whether he has ever had another goal or what his origins are. Powers/Equipment: Nad’Hegas only identifiable power is that of elusiveness. His victims can’t, even as they die, precisely identify what was the cause of their death. Oftentimes they aren’t even able to accurately create a connection between their death and their killer. Nad’Hegas has the unique ability of seeming to be the most insignificant creature in the world while performing even the most impactful actions.
Welcome Camarada, thanks for joining! Your character certainly sounds intriguing. He certainly sounds like a loner though, which could limit your interactions with other characters, but I'm sure you'll figure something out Can't wait to see him in action!
sorry, ive been away, but Im at my cousins, thus i won't be on as much. Im currently doing a collaboration with Love to write
Thanks for letting us know Magnan. I'm looking forward to a good week of writing! Right now I'm waiting on naturemage, but Greywind is open for collaboration any takers? Who else is everyone waiting on?
Sorry, Naturemage and I are going to collaborating on a post, but I have been a bit slow in answering his PM (busy weekend, but all sorted now!).
Hey guys, I'm really sorry for leaving you guys hanging, Uni's taking up all my time at the moment, I've sadly had to put my imagination on hold. I don't know when/if I'll be back, but I just wanted to let you guys know I've had alot of fun with all of you.
Rustic!! We had fun with you too Its too bad we can't get paid to do this, then the 'real world' would never get in the way. I've been there, your muse will return in due time. In the meantime study hard!
