Jesus I'm tired. Anyways I seem to have created a very complicate character. Figuring out how mind invasion works is hard but still a lot of fun. I'll try to clear it up tomorrow. I'm trying to steer away from having to explain anything about how my character and his powers work but I might have to if any of you feel confused in any way. If you do, feel free to tell me and I'll post here regarding his power(s).
@Rapaz: Just one thing. The psychic abilities that your character uses - are they visible? Or just metaphorical imagery? Interesting. It seems Igor's reinforcements have been delayed. Naturemage, you should collaborate with Areadrill to get the best out of it.
Character Name: Relegator Thum (pronounced thoom) Age: Aged 206 he's at his prime for a T' gallian Gender: Male Appearance: Thum stands at 9 feet, above average height for his race but suited for his rank. The T' gal are humanoid creatures but their jaws are lizard like with rows of sharp teeth. Their skin is blue in colour and slightly scale like. Thum wears a tight fitting combat suit with a hooded robe top. The suit is made from a durable mesh to stop projectiles and blades. Personality: Thum is manipulative and persevering but has a quick temper. Once intent on doing something very little will stop him from doing it. He does have a soft side however, finding it near impossible to harm children or babies of any race. History: he T' gal are a millitaristic race from the year 8032. They are currently engaged in war with the jok'un, human like beings with four arms. The T' gal use a mixture of advanced technology and magic to conquer their foes. The T' gal empire is slowly spreading across their galaxy and the leaders see the orb as a way to increase their power. Thum has been trained for millitary his whole life, his father being the second in command until he was killed by a jok'un. After his death Thum enlisted and rose through the ranks until he reached his current post. He his fith in the armies chain of command and resposible for leading the assault on the orb. Powers/Equiptment: Thum carries a large gold coloured hammer. It's made form a rare ore stolen from a planet he conquered and is incredibly dense, Only Thum is able to lift it. He is able to manipulate gravity. He commonly uses this to increase the damage of his hammar strikes or jump height but has also been known to use it to imoblise people around him. His robe blocks out radiation and psycionic/psychic energy. Now to try and work him into the story
Oh wow! I totally loved it. Short but sweet. I was completely caught off guard. I can't wait to read what happens next.
It seems like just walking through a portal is all you need to do to get started. Before I knew it, someone was there shooting the crap out of a monster that I just made up. Behemoth, Dragon and Snake have already appeared. On another note, I wonder if exclusive is going to introduce a monster npc for Thatratar to temporarily take control of.
Totally with you there! I hope to have a post up tomorrow. I can't wait to have my character stumble into craziness. haha
Alright, just to keep track of all the current players, here's a list: - Magnalian the Summoner - Igor - Riley Burstion - Drake/Magnafire - Grudel - Atlas - Eslana - Faramar - Thatratar - Leila Scarlet - Pyree - Relegator Thum Am I missing any?
I think that that's about all of them Backbiter, thanks. Its also WAY more than I expected, why haven't you people joined any of the regular games?! I'm curious to see if this works with so many people. @naturemage: Unless you had permission, you crossed the line there by stunning Faramar and having him drop from the sky. As it stands, Areadrill can have him quickly recover if he/she likes. But next time you have to limit yourself to sending the stun bolt at him and allow the other player to dodge, evade, or take the hit. I just had Magnalian create a barrier of jungle and then a large chasm for you to get through before you can get to him. Although in so doing I suspect he may have given his location away to some. You will find all manner of nightmarish creatures of your own making in the jungle, so tread lightly...
That was a very nice development. I'm liking this. Question: Would the jungle have overlapped the current positions of the players?
My excuse is that I'm still tying up the loose ends of mine before sending it to you Although I may join naturemage's new game. This is going to be fun.
Would it be possible for me to create a "village 3"... it's not too important since I'm fine with choosing to be in either of the two villages.
I guess that's up to you. You don't need my "okay" to create anything. Also, I PMed you about your character at one point. Did that get to you?
Its fine by me, but isn't your character already on his own (and immobile without another player)? You may need to collaborate with someone and get a plan going.
@GaleSkies: Very nice recent post. So she ended up teleporting to the jungle by accident? It's a good thing she has a handgun.
Ooops, I think I may have broken rule 12. Made a quick edit to maybe fix it. Forgot to check the discussion thread too. If I messed some continuity up let me know. (Damn, I knew teleportation would be to0 hard to use and keep track of continuity)
Lucky her right? Too bad she's in a crying weeping ball of despair. Anyone who comes near might end up full of lead.
Keep in mind that the M1911 will have about 8 rounds already loaded in it. Additionally, Atlas probably would have given her two or three extra magazines. This leaves you with an 'astounding' 24-32 rounds. Good luck!
The best way to explain Igor's power is thinking of Itachi from Naruto. It's different but the mind part with the wall is all metaphoric. It's basically a world inside someone's head. I'll edit this post later when I get back from school and explain it more thoroughly. EDIT: Igor is a master in the area of psychic, teleknesis, mind invasion, and most of the stuff related to that. He can attack either physically by attacking with sheer psychic force or mentally by invading his opponent's mind. When he invades someone else's mind, it's as if there's a different dimension. Time goes by very slowly (seconds turn to hours) which basically means that in the fight with the behemoth, the scene where Igor is inside is mind, it all happens in a matter of milliseconds in the normal dimension. Igor assumes his usual physical form when he's inside someone's mind but he can morph his image into anything he wants. I hope that explains it, if you need to know something else just ask away.
Wow, I feel like I've dropped behind quite a bit, missed the dragon killing and stuff, I should say living in England means I won't be on at the same time as all of you.
So was there any interaction with Magnafire, since I can't read the first page in school, I can read the second no problem. Just a summary would be nice thanks. Otherwise I'll have to wait to the end of the school day to post. I do ask though, not to leave me behind, a lot of my past rps I've been in, I been left for dead, because when i sleep everyone else is posting away. I'm not saying keep a slow pace just try not to speed up too much. i can't be on everyday, I won't be on weekends, although as it is the holidays next week i should be on a lot more. I now kind of feel like apologising for some reason.
Magnan - There wasn't any interaction on page 2 if thats what you mean and don't worry, I'm playing form UK aswell. I think a few people are.
I believe this was said to your character on the first page: --- Riley grinned and waved. "Enjoy the show? Sorry if I sort of took things into my own hands; I get angry sometimes," he admitted as he advanced toward the man. Patting him on the back, he continued, "The name's Riley. You say you're called Drake? Nice to meet you. Now, where the hell are we? I remember walking through this insane-looking portal, and all of a sudden I'm fighting a dragon. Not the greatest welcoming committee, but at least we're alive, eh? I'd really like to figure out where it came from. One of the men mentioned that it arrived from the east, but those villagers acted like it wasn't exactly a common occurrence; I'm sure there's some sort of dark force behind it all. It usually seems to work out like that." Chuckling, Riley retrieved and sheathed his sword. "My apologies," he added, "I've really been ranting, I suppose. Where are you from? How did you find yourself in this place?" --- This was said directly after the dragon had been killed. Don't worry about not being able to post often. This is just a casual RPG after all. And besides, you might be sleeping when we're posting, but it works the other way too.
