As I was writing my post I wrote this: With his eyes closed, he disjointed his mind from his body and he penetrated hers', swiftly as an arrow. I knew something was wrong about it so I went back and re-read it. I laughed like an idiot.
It is indeed... By the Losthawken would mind if as this thing progresses Erif Angam begins to surface in Magnafire, and would I be able to have a few npc Edge Legionairies (undead).
You should be able to edit Magnafire's Character sheet. That's a good point actually, if any of your characters undergo major changes it would e good to update your character sheet so that new players will know.
Really, sometimes I've looked at my posts and I can'y edit them in anyway. I'll have a look at my cs and see if the edit symbol is there. Edit: nope, nothing saying i can edit it. I can edit this because noone has posted.
Hmm, does anyone else have the same problem? I have edit rights on all posts in the RPG forum, so my experience isn't of much help.
Interesting. So is Erif some sort of counterpart to Magnafire? I'm unable to edit my older posts. I was thinking there was some sort of time limit in which you could edit your posts.
Erif is the former First Edge, his soul occupies the mortal body of Magnafire, although its dormat. if Magnafire continues as he is, it won't be for long. So he is Magnafire's counterpart. Also the reason why Magnafire is trying to stop him taking over is because of what happened 700,678 years ago, which I won't reveal until later on and Blade Edge is also important. Magnafire is an anagram of Erif Angam, it is Drake's title. A bit more is mentioned in Magnafire's cs if your interested.
Name: Rodrick Greyhammer Age: 38 Gender: M Appearance: Large bloke (Broad shouldered, muscular, tall etc) with raven-black short hair with flecks of grey and pale, almost ghostly, green eyes. Personality: Rough, determined, short-sighted, narrow minded, loyal, haunted and neurotic. History: His mother died giving birth to him at the magical ruins of Kurdanal, under the watchful eyes of the syndicate, (Mage's guild) wherein he was bestowed with the power over Lorin (internalised magic) which allows him to increase: Agility, strength, and cognition, for a limited amount of time based upon quantity. At 16 his father was killed by their overlords the Nightkin, inside the smithy where they worked. At 18 he lead a revolution against the city with the assistance of various human-based organisations. After the liberation of the city he allowed human citizens to have last names, his older brother Gavin decided that Greyhammer sounded like it would appeal to ladies, and formally changed it without Rodrick knowing. After his first battle on the field at 20 an ascended (The god of righteousness) chose him to be it's prophet and champion, granting him physical superiority compared to his kin. At 22 he encountered an enemy prophet (the embodiment of Envy). A duel ensued that ended with Envy shoving a flaming torch into the left side of Rodrick's face, scaring it, and causing him, in his desperation to find that he had the power to make his Lorin manifest itself around his weapon. This ability also allowed him to manipulate the flames, and by enlarging it he could bring down fiery death from afar with a simple thrust of his axe. At 30, he freed the human population of the Newlands from tyranny and became in charge of alternate-species relations, a job that typically consisted of driving various races to the point of extinction and forcing them into vassalage. Powers/Equiptment: Boiled Leather armor with sparse steel plating, no helm, a Bardiche axe (Glaive pole axe). Powers: a passive boost to health recovery and physical fitness, is naturally strong but also has the ability to temporarily boost his mind and body, which drains Lorin, that can also be used to turn his axe into a large blade of pure flame. See Y'all on the battlefield.
@RusticOnion: Sounds like an interesting character. Seeing the last post, he brought a small army with him?
I've been reading the thread and I've decided more things need to die, so I brought y'all some fodder. His methods may be questionable, but you gotta admit, he gets results.
Well they are all screwed if you decide to make Magnafire your enemy... well techinically Blade Edge, nearly impervious and pretty much hungry for a kill. So he does, he's got that can do attitude.
Perhaps we could collaborate a fight? I could write the part up if nobody else will take the position. How much of your army is disposable, Rustic?
When do you guys think it would be acceptable? I don't like the idea of you killing five with every blow or anything like that, and they'll mostly be support units for Rodrick, but really, I intend for them all to die, eventually.
I would also be willing to help you Cheddar gives me a chance to experiment with how to fight with Blade Edge, I have an idea but until I get a real chance to use it then I dont know if i will need to adapt it.
