Too easy, I found it on Google even though I never read the book. Spoiler Dune I'll have to think a minute for a follow up.
This man is doing things that do not need to be done. My eyes hurt looking at him. I, on the other hand, practice minstrel-yoga, which involves lying in a nice warm bed and falling asleep. If any effort or pain is involved, you're doing it wrong.
@Wreybies, DUNE! Didn't have to google it. You are skilled in the weirding way. Anyone familiar with this fine fellow? Are you ready for Final Atonement?
There are prudish places - the United States of America is one - where depicting anatomy is frowned upon, and in some cases, illegal. Why, I don't know. It's anatomy. Some people, though, would rather pretend it doesn't exist.
@GingerCoffee Well....alright If you all want someone with a better show of anatomy there is this guy how does he do? Would ja look at the power of that ....glow
Having run in art circles for the past 15 years, I really have no idea what you are talking about. Ask me about the time I drew ass of the guy that took down rev. Ted Haggard.
I'm talking about drawings of men that don't have anatomy. Dunno why. [/quote] What about the time you drew ass of the guy that took down rev. Ted Haggard?
No, you're talking about men that don't have penis bulges in their skin-tight-suits, which is understandable because getting them right is actually really hard, and most artist don't get practice drawing skin-tight-suit-wearing models. Penises in general are difficult in ways that are hard to explain to someone who has never tried to draw one. Or at least draw an anatomically correct one. The lack of a rigidly definable proportion, or general style...blah blah blah. And then when you get to the package it's all a mess trying to get everything to conform to the style of the character. Making a penis bulge right is hard difficult because getting it wrong will turn a lot of people off. You remember Haggard? Reverend and resident homophobe of a church in Colorado Springs? In 2006 a man heard his voice on the radio talking about the evils of homosexuality and thought, "That strange, that sounds like the man I used to have meth fueled gay sex with." So he brought this suspicion to the Denver Post. Their investigative report article listed this man's (Mike Jones) profession as "male model," which everyone assumed was code for "male prostitute." Well it actually was code for that. Mike Jones admitted to taking money to have sex with Haggard, but he did model on the side, and one of the places that he modeled was the 8th floor of the Art Institute of Colorado. And I have drawn his naked ass.
Something is off, like he's wearing his speedo too high. I like that the artist tried though. Better than the Ken doll model.
Thread reboot: My first one was a little obvious, in hopes of making the game clear to everyone. This is one is a little more esoteric. Have a care with this. The transformation is not for the faint of heart.
I get that you want more obscure references, not just, do we recognize an image? But this one may not have enough to go on.
There are actually three clues in my post. The image is one, and there are two verbal clues. Someone who has read this well known science fiction series (and that's my 4th and final clue) should get it quickly.
You're not stupid. But members are going to have to work for this one. I have purposefully kept google-proof. I can't be the puppeteer for the whole thread... (That's seriously the last clue I'm giving.)
Well I would have guessed The Thing, (a vege based being that imitates other lifeforms), until you said series. But my Google-fu thinks it could be: Spoiler Ringworld
