LOL! I thought Gregor was being a sweet heart. He only "helped" that one orderly who was clearly abusing him and being rude to other patients.

Gregor started the riot and killed one of the orderlies. Who deserved it of course

And basically, the army men came in and took control of the chaos and John shot Gregor in the leg for being naughty. And now everyone is basically going to sleep xD
