Mortimer ate the chicken and fries while Gregor stood silently. As the patient began to lick his fingers, Gregor took a deep breath. "There is a Judas amongst us. Only you can smite them, my Lord. If it pleases you I have a plan." Gregor whispered into Mortimer's ear.

Now to see if he really trusts me, thought Gregor. "My lord, so your foes do not get wise to your inevtable victory, might I please put the straps back on you?"

Gregor looked through the small window and nodded to Skye who unlocked the door. Gregor smiled, locked Mortimer's door, and looked at the girl. As Handel stepped out he stumbled backward slightly. "Oh Klesps, I missed you too, but you are hugging me a bit tight." The "doctor" smiled at Skye. "Thank you my dear, I couldn't do it without you. COuld Klesps and I ask on more favor?"

After Ambriel whispers in his ear, he says "Ok, got it." He grabs her and pulls her a little farther from Skye. He whispers to her "Has Gregor done anything suspicious since you saw him the in the hallway."

Gregor looked at Chaos. "You know Klesps," he whispered, "that young man is going to have to choose a side soon."

She was relieved when Gregor walked out, but shocked as he asked another favor.

    She nodded her head.

    “Of course.” She said.

She quickly handed him the key, “Working with you is like an adventure.”

Ambriel was so relieved to see Gregor that she almost feel on top of him..."Oh, your safe...I am so glad to see you." Ambriel whispered as hard as she could.

She knew as misguided as some his ideas were...Gregor was a good man.Ambriel looked at Neil and said.."No, he has been a perfect gentleman, Chaos..I am thinking that maybe we should give him a chance..."

Ambriel simply smiled up at him and nodded.

She was discovering new boundaries and it was feeling pretty good.

Mortimer sat in his prison cell, again strapped. He was quite please though, for he had just eaten a fine meal. His first follower, Dr. Handel, had asked that he undertake the foul task of wiping away Judas. He licked his lips, hungry to get out and kill again.
"F***ing pigs, will all soon be split upon my thumb soon..." he giggled gleefully.

Skye closed her door silently, and went to the side of the room where her bed sat. She quickly moved it, taking her butter knife from inside her pillow. She gently slid out the tile she had taken from the bathroom, and sat it next to her on the floor. She began sliding the butter knife just under the tile that was furthest in the corner.

She hit it in light, quick strokes with her knife as it slowly came up in one piece. She quickly slid the bathroom tile in it’s place. She grabbed the small tile and began brushing her knife across it on the ridged side of it’s blade. She spent a few minutes lowering the thickness until it was as thin as she could get it without it breaking. She gently slid I in the middle of the open space on the floor. It was a few inches smaller on each side then the tile she had taken out. Next to it she placed her butter knife. She quickly out the larger tile over it. She stepped on it, making sure it felt stable.

She smiled at her handy-work, and quickly pushed her bed back to where it belonged. She turned away from her room, realizing through all of this she had ignored her fear. She was in complete darkness, yet she felt for fear. She smiled to herself, and walked from her room. She had a mission to start.

Mortimer looked brightly at the kneeling Gregor, a small smile cracked into his distorted features. A laugh, small but audible, escaped from his mouth.
"Arise sweet follower, remove my binds. Soon, we will be in the hall of the King, and I shall be rid of this miserable mortality."

Gregor undid the straps and handed Mortimer the fried chicken. "An offering for you my Lord."

Mortimer snatched away the chicken greedily and shoved it in his mouth, forgetting the gravity of his release. Grease running into his beard, Mortimer coughed from shoving to much chicken down his throat. It was a truly ghastly sight. Remembering Dr. Handel was in the same room, he looked up at him and spat out what was left in his mouth.
"All right then doc, who the f*** is Judas amongst us? I will show no mercy, his brains will be replaced with sh*t."

Gregor looked around. "My Lord, they may be listening." Taking a deep breath, he leaned in close and whispered," I think the Judas is ...."

Mortimer's eyes widened a bit. Dr. Handel moved away from him, and Mortimer looked at him seriously.
"This, doc, this is a matter of utmost severity. I'll find that sh*t, I'll find that sh*t and f*** 'im till there ain't nothing left but his f***ing teeth," Mortimer smiled, his hands aching to take a swing at the next moving thing he saw.

Gregor nodded. "My Lord, lest your enemies know your true strength, I must replace your bindings. Will you allow it?"

"Yes, Doc, yes. That may be best for now. I must suffer as a mortal anyways," said Mortimer, sitting back in his chair. Dr. Handel re-did his binds then approached the door, knocking on it. It swung open and he began to walk out, but Mortimer quickly said, "Watch your ass doc. They're f***ing crawling all over this place."

After explaining the situation to Niel, Ambriel left in the care of Gregor and Klesps.

Standing outside of the Nurses Lounge...she peeked in through the small window on the door. Nobody was present at the moment but a lab coat was hanging on a hook just inside of the door. Pulling the master key from her pocket, Ambriel quickly opened the door. In one second she had the Lab coat and was putting it on, after a quick adjustment she tied her hair up in a bun and headed for the Nurses Desk...it was time for business.

The meds tray was out and the Nurse was about to distribute them when the desk phone rang..."Hello...hello.....look if this a joke....hello!...What?...you're going to have to speak up, I can barely hear you...yeah..."

Ambriel, took advantage of the situation and quickly grabbed up two of the five syringe's that was lying on the tray...they were original destined for Mortimer's holding room.

"He won't be needing these I think." Ambriel said as she carefully tucked the needles in the lab coat pocket.

Gregor was waiting for her with a smile when she approached him. Niel looked surprisingly relaxed...Ambriel grinned mischievously.

She found her room, and went to the mirror. She knew it was easy, what she'd do, but it took concentration. Suddenly, she felt a pang of unsureness. She could just take the mirror off the wall, to make sure it wasn't too small, but someone would wonder. She balled her fist and in two strikes to the mirror had broken it into a fine square. She put the square into the large pocket of her sweater, and broke off a crude piece of the sharp matter. She scratched four numbers into the wall, nine words, and one symbol. Then she went to find Dr. Handel.

Handel smiled as he saw Chloris. He waved and walked over. "Yes Klesps,' said Gregor his voice on the edge of loosing his composure, "I'm sure this is all a ruse to just see you. Ummm ... you've never worn clothing. Yes, I know your fur serves that purpose. So then why are you wearing a tie?"

She handed him the mirror and walked away. Gregor nodded to Ambriel, Chaos, and Niel. "Good Night."

Handel returned to his room and put the mirror in his hiding spot.

Skye struggled to push the card table across the carpet of the playroom. She stopped it when it was right under the grate of the ventilation system. She quickly ran for one of the wooden chairs, raising it on the table, placing it right in the middle. She went to the door, and looked out, making sure none of the orderlies would catch her while she was in the middle of her deed. She grabbed another of the wooden chairs, placing it against the doorknob. She hoped that would keep them away, enough time for her to do her mission.

She pulled herself atop the table, and then stood herself up on the chair.

“Klesps.” She said, her hands shaking as she looked up at the grate above her, “If you’re here, scare those orderlies away.” It was a good two foot reach even with the furniture. She gulped and bent down low, quickly thrusting herself up with her legs. The tips of her fingers barely caught the grate as she fell to the ground with it, knocking the chair off. She yelled out in pain, as her eye gave a twitch.

“Oral enthusiast!” her voice bellowed. She slapped her hand over her mouth as she looked over at the door. Her heart raced as she listened hard for any footsteps. None came, as she quickly rose from the ground. Her bottom ached, and her back screamed at her but she ignored it. She quickly put the chair back in it’s place, and climbed back to the top.

She once again, bent low and thrust herself up with a jump. Her fingers barely caught the edge of open vent. Her fingers screamed in pain as she managed to lift herself up with their grip. She quickly closed her eyes, and went forward towards the kitchen. She stopped as her hands felt the grate that connected to the dining hall portion of the kitchen, just one more grate away from the kitchen itself. She went onwards until she reached the second grate.

She opened her eyes and moved the grate from it’s place, as it fell into the kitchen with a loud clang. Her heart raced as she peered down inside the dark kitchen. The darkness sent a shiver down her spine. Her thoughts went back to Ambriel, as she stared at the darkness directly.

“I’m not afraid of you anymore.” She hissed. She quickly let herself fall through the hole in the grate, landing on her feet. Her legs pained her but she took no notice as she headed for the drawers in the kitchen. She knew they’d have cooking oil, there was no way around that. She hoped they kept the cooking wine somewhere around there, she knew that would be even more valuable.

She stumbled through the drawers sending kitchen utensils all over the floor as she hurriedly searched. She stopped as she got to the last drawer, her hands caressed one of the knives. This was better then her butter knife. It was sharp, very sharp. It glistened as she slid it into the pouch she had on her clothes. She needed protection, she knew that. She didn’t trust Mortimer one bit. She’d have to rely on herself, she wouldn’t always have Gregor, Ambriel or Klesps around.

She went towards the cupboards and rummaged around, tossing things on the ground. She cursed under her breath until she came to the big cabinet. She frowned when she saw the lock the kept it shut. She quickly ran for one of the larger metal knives of the floor. She stuck it in the lock and gave it a quick, strong twist. The lock fell with a clang.

“Cheap lock.” She scoffed. She threw the knife onto the ground. She quickly opened the cabinet and her eyes went wide at the treasure she found. She began to collect it, putting it in the ventilation system. Skye’s eye gave a twitch, as she took the first of the cartons of oil from the cabinet. She managed to get a few gallons, and some of the cooking wine into the ventilation system as she slowly worked her way to the other side. For once, the dust didn’t bother her. She was on an adventure after all.
