Skye just got out the playroom door when an orderly stopped her. “Skye!” She yelled, “You have a visitor!” Skye looked at her quizically, as she motioned for a young man to follow her. She studied his face, almost certain she had never seen him before. “Who’s that?” she asked, “I don’t remember him.” “It’s your cousin.” The orderly said, before walking off.
Jerry shrugged. He had managed to get inside the hospital. Now, to get inside Brenda's office. "Well, hi." He started, looking at the frowning young girl. "I know you don't know me...but that's okay. I'm...uhh...I wanted to know where Dr. Brenda's cabin is. Do you know?" He prayed that she wouldn't tell a soul of his intentions.
Skye's eye gave a violent twitch. “Oral Enthusiast!” she bellowed. She looked up at him, confusion on her face. “I could take you there, but she’d have it locked. Why not ask one of the orderlies anyways?” she said.
Jerry shrugged, panicked by the idea of calling an orderly. They would never take him there - something which the young girl would not understand. "Sweetie," he started, trying to be friendly, "I can't get the orderlies to listen to me. They think I'm...uhh...delusional or something. You know what that means? So please, just take me there, and I guess I'll try to figure out a way to get in." Jerry felt stupid discussing these things with an insane girl, but went on anyway.

She grabbed his hand, and led the way passing many people through the hall. She didn’t know why he wanted into Miss Brenda’s room and frankly she didn’t care. She needed any way to get around meeting Jason again. He wouldn’t take to her kindly. “I can get you in.” she said, “But I think you’re too big to fit in the vents. I can open the door from the inside though.” She said. She bit her lip, hoping she wouldn’t get in trouble for this. They stopped in front of Miss Brenda’s room.
Ambriel was sure that Skye wondered why she hadn't followed her and Gregor. There was something she needed to do...her own aganda had become lost in the care of her new friends. Ambriel had to get back on track...it demanded it. Ambriel needed to go and see him again...something drew her to him...something she didn't understand, but it compelled her anyway. Shel knew the danger...but what compelled her was a far greater danger than anything he had ever known or seen. "Tonight "M"...tonight." Ambriel would wait patiently.
Niel walked to Ambriel's room and knocked on the door. "Hey Ambriel are you there, I need to talk to you." Niel says while he wonders to himself, "What did she manage to find."
Jerry was fascinated by how cooperative and helpful the insane people were. "I might as well put my kids here if they cause trouble." He smiled to himself and watched the girl climb the vents. "Oh, thanks Skye." He added, after a brief while.
She smiled at him. “Stay here.” She said bluntly. She quickly ran off towards her room, shutting the door. She quickly moved her mattress again, putting it under the grate. She quickly climbed up, taking the grate off, and sliding it inside the opposite side of the vent. She crawled up, just as her bed fell over. She looked down, cursing under her breath as she headed towards Brenda’s room. She looked down, sure she was in the right room, removing the grate. She jumped down, knocking down some papers on her desk. She walked over the paper. She unlocked the door, and swung it open. “What do you want to do in here?” she finally asked. Her eye gave a violent twitch. “I’ll f**king kill you!” she bellowed.
Jerry was taken aback by the girl's rude output, but then remembered Francine mentioning something about Turet...or something like that, in which people spat out random things. He grinned, and then replied: "Just want to give her a surprise." He conveniently walked in, and then yawned. "Not like you insane people would understand." He bit his lower lip, and immediately flinched. "I mean...uhh..."
Niel knocks on the door harder and says "Hey, Ambriel please answer. We really need to talk." Niel thinks to himself, "I really hope she didn't get hurt in the fire."
She looked at him with angry eyes. Insane? Had he the audacity to just call her that. He turned her way, and she quickly gave him a feined smile. “I’m sure, someone insane like me couldn’t get into this room.” She spat at him, her smile still sticking. She climbed atop Brenda’s desk, quickly putting the grate back in it’s place as she watched him move around. She jumped down. “I’m also sure an insane person like me couldn’t scream for the orderlies.” As she ended this she ran for the door, and began yelling at the top of her lungs. “Help!” she yelled. A few nurses and orderlies ran her way, a shot in hand, "He's breaking into Brenda's room!" She was grabbed, and her arms forced down as they walked into Brenda's room.
The orderlies had grabbed hold of Skye, but Jerry was in for big trouble. He tried hiding, but he was too gigantic to hide. "Excuse me sir! What are you doing here? You are not supposed to be in Miss. Brenda's office without her permission." Jerry grinned, and then fatuously tried running out of their grasp. However, they were trained to grab runaways. "Hold it sir!" He was held back by another two orderlies, at which he protested: "I'm not like these insane people! Lemme go!"
Skye growled under her breath, and eyed him angrily. “He’s delusional!” she said, “He’s probably not even sure where he is!” She watched as he struggled and protested, but the orderlies didn’t listen as they gave him the shot that was most likely meant for her. She gave a sly smile, and watched as his body slumped. He looked at her with weary, angry eyes. She giggled at him.
Ambriel looked at Niel...She wondered why she hadn't told him already what was up with the hospital...Gregor and John. "Sit down Niel...we need to talk." She followed him closely with her eyes. "You need to know upfront, you might not like what I have to say...so just let me tell you everything and then you can ask questions...okay?" She was friendly but firm. Ambriel started slowly..."There are things happening here that go beyond your comprehension...things which you will never understand." She watched Niel's face frown a bit. "You see, nothing is in those records which tells us anything concerning Gregor or John....as a matter of fact, Gregor doesn't even have an identity...he was basically given one." There are no prints of any kind...they assume he had some kind of medical training because of the way the body was cut." "John, well that's another story, you know as much as I found...still, there has to be a connection... I found this note in Gregor's file" Ambriel handed it over to Niel...it simply read, I am coming my friend... you should be afraid. "J" "That is all I know...the military, there is nothing...except for a news paper clipping from like several years back which said something about a project being washed out." Ambriel let the words sink in...she let Niel consider everything then continued. "That is all I know, still it is enough to keep your eyes open." She wanted to tell him everything but knew it was forbidden, she knew there were somethings her friend could never know...it was for his own good.
Niel's eyes grow dark. "Interesting." says Chaos as he stands up. Chaos looks at Ambriel and says, "Keep yourself safe. Between fires, riots, trigger happy detectives and Gregor, who knows what will happen next. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to have a little chat with Gregor about his connection to John and about why he doesn't have a past." Chaos leaves the room and thinks to himself, "I really hope she isn't holding out on us. I want to be able to trust her. Now its time to find a certain doctor."
Ambriel approach Mortimer's door. Surprisingly enough, it was unlocked...everything was coming together. The door gave a little creek when Ambriel pushed it opened. Her shadow cast long in front of her frame. She had entered his room...he would see her.
Mortimer suddenly noticed the door was open again. He looked over to see a smaller figure then Gregor standing there. His eyes narrowed. "Who the f*** is it? You ain't the doc."
Chaos turned as the tapping of Gregor's cane grew louder. The two patients locked eyes. Gregor coughed. "Klesps said you were looking for me."
"Shhh....all willl be revealed in time." Was Mortimer mistaken, or did her shadow change shape...fear filled the room.
"We should go somewhere private, I don't want other people to hear us." says Chaos as he leads Gregor to his room. After entering his room Chaos says, "Considering all of the crazy s*** that has been going on in this place, I decided to do some investigating. So far I only found out that there is some connection between you and John. With the way things are, information could be the difference between life and death, so I really don't want to be kept out of the loop. So tell me doc, what is your connection to John and the military. Either you tell me what I want to know or I'll get the information from Dr. Francine."
Gregor carefully lowered himself onto Niel's/Chaos' bed. "Dr. Francine doesn't know. You can threaten, cajoul, bargain, it doesn't matter - she has no clue. John and I have met before. Now, I have given you a piece of information, I want one in return. DO you think I'm a monster?"
Mortimer stared at the shape, whispering to him assurance. "Who the f***ing bloody hell are you?" he screamed, "You're one of them! It said I wouldn't see it again! You're here to kill me, aren't you! It won't do you any good, I'll come back as GOD!" Mortimer's eyes widened to an unimaginable size. He began to drool as he breathed in and out harshly.
"I not sure if you are or not. Its kind of hard to figure someone out when they have no past." says Chaos, "I think John is the most dangerous person involved in this investigation and its apparent that you are against him, so in theory you should be the good guy in this story, but at the same time, you always seem to be scheming and are always five steps ahead of everyone else. Right now I'm not sure if I can trust you but I do believe that you are the lesser of the two evils here. Now that I answered your question, I want you to answer mine. What is your real name. I know it isn't Gregor."
