Blood flew, and Vira wasn't angry. Mortimer attacked the stranger, and Vira wasn't angry. But she did leap onto Mortimer's back and jab her thumbs into his eyes.
"AH F***!" screamed Mortimer as a stranger jumped on his back and pushed her thumbs into his eyes. Reaching back with one arm he grabbed the stranger and flipped them to the ground. His left eye wouldn't open and was bleeding a bit. He through a kick into their ribs. "F***ing stupid bitch!"
Pain jabbed at her ribs, but she quickly rolled away from Mortimer's foot. Her back hurt, but she ignored it and stood up. "Take him down, okay? I'll help you tie him." She said in a normal tone, and she focused only on defense against Mortimer.
The lamp slams into Chaos'es face and busted him open, as the blood runs down his face and he smiles. Mortimer throws the little girl off of his back. Chaos begins to laugh and says "Finally a worthwile opponent." as Mortimer lunges for him. When Mortimer is close enough Chaos grabs his good arm and throws him over Chaos'es shoulder, straight into the wall. As Mortimer slides down the wall, Chaos spins and nails Mortimer's ribs with the heel of his foot. He could hear Mortimer's ribs break. When Mortimer lands on the floor he begans to cough up blood. Chaos stands over Mortimer and says "I figured that the great messiah would be stronger than this. You lay before a follower of Lucifer, your enemy, and this is all you can do." while laughing.
Follower of Lucifer? Vira was angry that he hadn't excepted her help, and she kicked him hard in the ribs. Then she nonchalantly began to walk away, seeking a better destination.
Mortimer coughed up blood and spat it out. Chaos taunted him, saying, ""I figured that the great messiah would be stronger than this. You lay before a follower of Lucifer, your enemy, and this is all you can do." Mortimer snarled and kicked out one of Chaos' legs, hearing the knee break, "An eye for an eye, a bone for a bone f***head!" Screamed Mortimer.
Chaos fell to the floor. After Chaos lands on the floor, he uses his good leg and his arms to lunge at Mortimer. He grabs Mortimer's throat a squeezes hard. Mortimer began to shout and flail around. He punches Chaos several times, he even manages to break Chaos'es nose and one of his ribs. Eventually Mortimer stops moving. Afterwards Chaos checks his pulse to see if he is still alive. Mortimer only blacked out. Chaos stands up with his good leg and drags Mortimer back to the room where he came from, limping the entire way. There was a trail of blood from the fight scene to the room. When they arrived he strapped down Mortimer making sure all of the straps were secured. After he is strapped in, Chaos says "A bone for a bone huh?" Chaos kneels down and grabs Mortimers foot. He twists it until her hears the ankle break. After standing up, he says "F***ing rodent." and punches Mortimer in the face; causing more blood to come squirting out. Chaos leaves the room, making sure to lock the door.
Mortimer woke up, finding his foot to be broken. He snarled and howled in anger screaming, "Where the f*** is that little bastard! F***ing little sh*t! I'll f*** him over! F***ing son of a f***ing bitch!" Mortimer twisted and shouted for minutes on end ceaselessly. Suddenly he felt a gravitational difference in his room, some kind of indescribable weight. "Mortimer, what are you doing?" Mortimer looked up and saw the shadow of that being which bothered him. "F***! Get the hell outta here!"
As Chaos walked into the room and locked the door, he seemed shocked to see Vira standing there, having been behind the open door. "What was that? I know Mortimer's a threat, but you coulda left him alone after he blacked out, you know." She said. "He was getting you back, then you got him back, and now he'll want to get you back for his ankle, so I don't think it was a very smart move."
Chaos looks down at the girl and says "Yeah, I know, but he still deserved it for killing that patient earlier. Besides, knowing Mortimer, I think he would have wanted to get me back anyways. By the way, my name is Chaos, what's your name."
She started to continue the conversation of sorts, but wrote off her reply. "Vira," she replied, simply and coldly.
Her neutral expression turned to a frown. "I have anger issues, I guess. I think it's really unnessesary for me to be here at all, but I guess not. I could, of course, ask you the same thing."
"Well to put a long story short, I have two personalities. The other me is called Niel. You can tell when he is in control because my eyes go from dark blue to light blue. Our mom married an abusive guy. One day he punched her, so I beat the hell out of him. When the cops arrived, our mom told them that I attacked him for no reason and told them that I have a split personality. So, a judge decided to put me in here. Though like you, I don't think I should be in here. We were more well adjusted than most normal people." says Chaos.
"Eye color change . . . I've never heard of that. So . . . your name's Chaos? And you think Vira's unique. I mean, it's a great name, I didn't mean that as an insult at all."
I slowly woke up, my head hurting as though my brain was doing break dance. "Owww." I rubbed my cheeks, feeling as though I had been slapped like hell. I then gasped, finding everyone had fainted and lost memory of whatsoever had happened in this place. "Oh my." I bellowed, looking at Niel and Olena who were seemingly having a bad fight with someone. They turned to me for a short moment, after which I screamed, pushing the orderlies and the nurses: "Wake up! There's something wrong here!" Everyone started to wake up, and the nurses immediately grabbed Niel and Olena, leading them to a room for cleaning the wounds. I smelt a obnoxious scent coming from the lockup, and opened it. Mortimer was lying there, bloodied and hurt. I screamed, and called Dr. Paul who gasped and took Mortimer to the emergency room for an operation with the assistance of orderlies. I then breathed, thinking hard. "What the hell is going on?"
"Ouch - hey, watch it." Vira folded her arms over her ribs as the man poked at them. She was cross at Francine for not knowing what was going on, at Mortimer for throwing and kicking her, at Chaos for asking why she was here, and at the doctor, who was hurting her. He muttered what might have been an apollogy. She sighed, and rolled her eyes in annoyance.
Mortimer found himself carted away by a doctor to an operating room. Lying half-awake, Mortimer mumbled in a voice barely audible. When he finally re-gathered his senses he found his arm and leg to be splinted and stabilized. He also found his nose and mouth were bandaged up. Above him was the friendly face of Dr. Paul looking sternly at him. "My Mortimer, you seem to have gotten into a doozie this time. Would you happen to know anything about that patient lying dead in the hallway?" "He was saved," said Mortimer bluntly. "Right," mocked Dr. Paul, "Well, I'm going to need you to take this sedative please." Dr. Paul turned around and produced a large needle, "It won't hurt a bit." "F*** you," replied Mortimer. "What!?" said Dr. Paul, a bit surprised. "I said f*** you, I ain't takin' sh*t," growled Mortimer. "Look Mort-" said Dr. Paul, who was suddenly cut-off when Mortimer sat up with a speed that Dr. Paul couldn't comprehend. Grabbing the sedative, he shoved the needle into Dr. Paul's neck. Then twisting it to the side, he slit Dr. Paul's throat open. The two orderlies stationed there looked at each other, then charged him. Mortimer kicked one in the jaw with his good foot, dislocating it, then felt a sturdy punch in the face from the other orderly. Grabbing surgical scissors from the counter nearby, he jammed them directly into that orderly's wind pipe. He then dropped down on his good knee and elbowed the living orderly in the temple several times. He stood up and grabbed a walker that was meant for him. Slowly shuffling out of the room, Mortimer thought, "I'll find you white bitch... you're f***ing mine."
The doctors reparied Chaos'es knee, but he had to keep it in a brace for the time being. They also stitched up the cuts on his face and fixed his broken rib. Chaos sits in the playroom, looking out of the window thinking to himself "The last thing I remember was friday night. Whatever knocked us out, made us forget a lot. Somebody wanted us to forget. If there is anyone who knows who did this, it would be Belleth." He thought about Calipto's plan. He thinks "We need to tell Belleth about it, that may be the only chance we get to take Calipto down." He leaves the playroom and searches for Gregor.
Gregor walked back into the game room without his cane or even pretending to limp. He sat down at his usual spot and began suffling the cards. Klesps waited silently as Gregor shuffled faster and faster. Soon his hands were a blur as his shuffles became more and more complex. Within a few moments even the most experienced card shark would have looked at him with awe. Klesps kept his own counsel, knowing his friend needed to work things out for himself. Gregor suddenly stopped slamming the side of the deck against the table. "We should have stopped him on Ghalmaraz."
After searching throughout the asylum Chaos returns to the playroom. He sees Gregor playing cards and walks over to him. "We need to talk about Calipto." says Chaos as he watches Belleth shuffle the cards.
"Calipto was here on friday in disguise as I'm sure you already know. He asked us to help him take you out. Before I tell you the rest I need to know some information. First off, what happened to Calipto's wife. Secondly, how did you end up in an asylum and I want the real reason." says Chaos.
