Corson was in awe, and didn't even notice that he dropped in invisibility. "She is beautiful." he whispered, tears appearing in his eyes. He felt as if the the woman could see trough and his body and peer into his soul. And now she was there, smiling at him. Much beauty had been denied because of his afliction, but seeing this woman was like seeing all the sunrises that had been denied to him at once. "What are you." Corson muttered.
Layli smiled at them a little longer and then she dropped it. But even at that moment of a smile vanishing from her fair lips, she still had the smile in her jewel like eyes. "Welcome, I judge most of you got here safely, I am sorry for your loss something I didn't want to happen," Layli said her voice sultry and soft like wind, "I know why you are here, you want to escape this labyrinth of a ship and I the only one who can help...I know were the escape pods are, I already know everything, my only problem and it burdens me deeply is knowing the safety of the other Outlaws." Layli smiled at the invisible man and then her smile vanished again. "All the Outlaws in this ship are lost at sea...I do not want harm to them, just as I don't want harm done to you," Layli said, "I have one request try your hardest not to kill them, but to help them...and if helping them is beyond what you can do then please kill them in a way that causes them the least pain." She smiled again as her eyes glistened with kindness and compassion. "On another note I should introduce myself I am Layli," she said and bowed slightly, "And I'm under your care."
"On another note I should introduce myself I am Layli," she said and bowed slightly, "And I'm under your care." "Then you're in good hands," Seifer said. She was beautiful. There was no denying that. He found himself remembering that old saying again. Don't judge a book by its cover. She seemed fine, but he maintained a healthy distrust of everyone. "I'm Seifer," he said, reaching for a handshake. "I was told we don't have much time here. There are hostile Outlaws following us right now, so if there's anything helpful you wish to tell us, now is the time. If we have to fight them, I'd prefer to do it someplace where you won't be put in danger."
"I was told we don't have much time here. There are hostile Outlaws following us right now, so if there's anything helpful you wish to tell us, now is the time. If we have to fight them, I'd prefer to do it someplace where you won't be put in danger." Layli giggled. "Its nice for you to think of me...I promise you I'm not that weak and can protect myself," Layli paused, "Though the doctor always tell me not to." Layli smiled again. "Can we go to the cafeteria first Mr. Knight?" Layli asked, "I've been craving some starfruit for a while." Layli paused. "Of course my husband Damien will be there and his little brother, but Damien has always supported me so he shall be easy to convince," Layli said with another smile. Kimmy made a scoffing noise, she was slightly jealous with the way they were looking at Layli. Kimmy even glared at Seifer a bit, but said nothing she just wanted him to burn under her gaze. Layli smiled at her. "There is no need to look at them...I have Damien remember, he should be in the cafeteria, he always supports me it won't be hard to convince him to come with us," Layli said.
"Can we go to the cafeteria first Mr. Knight?" Layli asked, "I've been craving some starfruit for a while." What the f**k did she just call me? Seifer looked around, to see who she was talking to. She's talking to me? "That's not my name, but whatever. I'm sure everyone else here is hungry too. Let's go." Kimmy glared at Seifer, but said nothing. She wanted him to burn under her gaze. Drama queen. He stared back at her, to show her how silly she was being, but it didn't work. She wouldn't turn away. "You have really pretty eyes," he said after a while. He'd just noticed. "Purple... it's a good color on you."
"That's not my name, but whatever. I'm sure everyone else here is hungry too. Let's go." "You didn't get my joke," Layli said with a smile, "With what you said you sounded so knightly..see I have a sense of humor as well, I shall be your guide...hold on a minute." She took out a piece of paper and wrote on the paper: "Went to see Damien and to get some starfruit, wait here for me. You know how long his brother takes so don't bother going to the cafeteria. Last time you guys went you "wasted" your time. Love, Layli" "Purple... it's a good color on you." "Don't try to butter me," Kimmy said. Kimmy stared at him more. She knew what these men were thinking and it wasn't that it. Layli was like a sister to her, and they were looking at her sister in such a way that she didn't like. "The not will work trust me," Layli told the group, "The boys are a bit simple minded...especially when it comes to me."
"Don't try to butter me," Kimmy said. "As if I need to. You've been all over me since the second I met you," he said. "But if it'll make you feel better, I'll keep my compliments to myself from now on. Sorry." "You didn't get my joke," Layli said with a smile. "I got it. That doesn't mean it was funny," he said, beginning to get annoyed with the both of them. Layli began to scribble something on a piece of paper. He read over her shoulder. "What's with the quotes on 'wasted?'" he asked. "You're not trying to send hidden messages are you? We're all trying not to get wasted. Same goes for getting 'merked,' 'iced,' 'owned,' 'offed,' or any other slang for getting KILLED.... Of course I could just be reading into this waaay too much, in which case I apologize for accusing you of orchestrating our untimely deaths. It would be very unbecoming of a knight -- which I am not -- to accuse a lady of such a thing."
Layli smiled and her manner changed again. "I notice you do not like your woman with a friendly manner...I am sorry I got to close and humored myself a litte," Layli said her manner back to being almost like some holy scholar, "I shall think better next time." "What's with the quotes on 'wasted?'" "You are one to get suspicious quite easily...that's merely how Echo put it last time he said wasted and put it in quotes because at least he got the entertaining factor of Thomas to deal with, lets go I'll take you to the cafeteria," Layli said, "And then I shall take you home after you save everyone of course." Layli smiled again, the dazzle in her eye back to normal. She seemed in a better mood again. "Its the hormones dear before you make another suspicious remark...try to be pregnant once in a while you'll see what happens," Layli said. She began walking hoping they would follow. "As if I need to. You've been all over me since the second I met you," he said. "But if it'll make you feel better, I'll keep my compliments to myself from now on. Sorry." Kimmy stared at him again. She was about to say something, but she couldn't think of anything. How could he be so heartless? He truly had changed, and how could she accept that. She opened her mouth and closed it like a gapping fish, but could say nothing then. "I'm..." Blaine stepped in the middle of them. "Enough...you're giving me a headache you two...Seifer treat your woman better, Kimmy realize he has no manners, Kimmy realize you have no manners, Seifer respect her a little more," Blaine said, "There you all clear and better now...I'm so F@#king tired of you two jabbering on and on."
"Enough...you're giving me a headache you two...Seifer treat your woman better, Kimmy realize he has no manners, Kimmy realize you have no manners, Seifer respect her a little more," Blaine said, "There you all clear and better now...I'm so F@#king tired of you two jabbering on and on." Seifer considered this for a moment. Was he going to take relationship advice from a man who slaps little girls around because they insult his cat? A man whose only significant other was a feline? He'd argued with Blaine dozens of times; it was never hard to win these arguments. Blaine had the IQ of a sack of bricks. He could blow whatever he said right out of the water. He swallowed his pride and let the insults slide off of him. Why dignify it with a response? There was no point arguing with women either, but that was for an entirely different reason. "Sorry," he said to Kimmy. "I have plenty of respect for you, so let's just leave it at that.... If I say more, I'll just be 'buttering you up.'" Oh s**t, did I just say that!?
"I have plenty of respect for you, so let's just leave it at that.... If I say more, I'll just be 'buttering you up." Kimmy stared at him with eyes of fire. "Excuse me...when I said that you were staring at someone who I view as a sister like a piece of meat," Kimmy said, "You have no respect for me what so ever." Kimmy turned around and walked away in a huffy mood. Blaine sighed a little and petted Betsy a bit. "Meow," she said. "Uh huh," Blaine said, "Meow." She purred and he smiled a little.
"...you were staring at someone who I view as a sister like a piece of meat..." Kimmy said. "If you really thought of her as a sister you wouldn't be so envious of every little bit of attention she gets," Seifer said. "This is a life or death situation, not a popularity contest. It's not the time to look for a spouse or a lover. If that's all you can focus on right now, you're the one who's being disrespectful; you're disrespecting the lives of everyone here."
"If you really thought of her as a sister you wouldn't be so envious of every little bit of attention she gets," "Why does it even have to be in an envious way?" Kimmy asked defensively, "Can't it just be protecting her...she's married anyway." Kimmy glared at him again. Blaine grumbled, why did Seifer always start fights with woman? Was it his job to piss of every woman in the whole entire ship? "Can't you just shut up Seifer...is this your job, pissing every woman off?" Blaine asked.
The group followed the carrier through the narrow, glowing walls until they came over to the cafeteria. The door itself was a nice greenish, blue with a very nice color. Inside it was if they were back on Earth, it had a very restaurant look and feel. Of course it had the mix of fantasy with the glowing walls and everything. The door behind them closed. And when their backs were towards the door the door had a steel door cross over it, the windows were blocked out by steel shutters. The room now glue with a light baby blue hue. "Emergency lock down," said the ship, "Intruders have been captured." Layli turned around and a tear fell down from her face. "I tried to warn you, but I have no control...."Layli said. She fell to the ground and a young man stood in front of their faces he smiled at them and backed up. Behind was a large group of other Outlaws. "Do you like her last words, Layli's that is...you're not very good at spotting a dead body being controlled by one of your significant others," the boy said, "My name is Wrey and I am eleven years old....wanted you to know you were outsmarted by an eleven year old before you die, you should stop playing around with them...Betsy," "Meow," Betsy said. The cat transformed into a woman who was dressed in a cheetah jumpsuit. The front was half open and her chest was quite visible. She had curly brown hair and a tail. "Hiya, cuties pies," Betsy said, "Meow!!"
"Awwwwwww, F*CK!!!" Terrence exclaimed. "This whole damn thing's been a bust and now we're trapped in..." He goes to the door and knocks on it. He then knocks on the shutters. He heaves a sigh and punches the shutter. "Mothaf*ckin' steel!"
She watched Betsy transform right in front of her. "WHAT THE ****?!" Sam turned to Blaine. "Did you know about this?" Remembering his first words about her, how she was his lover. Her voice lowered agian. "Oh, you did, huh?" Trapped inside this room, so many enemies. At least, she thought, it should be over quickly.
Blaine stared at Betsy a little surprised. She did have a nice rack, she was kind of hot too. And her a$$. "Did you know about this?" Remembering his first words about her, how she was his lover. Her voice lowered agian. "Oh, you did, huh?" "How the hell was I suppose to know she transformed into a really hot woman....I just like cats, a lot, they have these cute squeezable pads on the bottom of their feet and they meow cutely and they pure," Blaine said, "But she is hot." Betsy giggled a little. "Neh, neh, Blaine come over to our side, we can save you and make you a better Outlaw....we can make all your problems go away and I can be your kitty queen," Betsy paused, "After all I am the one who save you...come one Blaine come over here." As Betsy was talking she was bending over and pursing her lips. Making it the most seductive pout on the planet. "Yes save your boy toy first then we can kill the others," Wrey said.
"Get on with the sh*t, already!" Terrence snapped at the boy and the cat woman. He took another glance at the woman and shook his head. He looked down and reached in his pocket for a cigarette and a lighter. After lighting a square, he took a drag and exhaled saying this. "Alright, whatever man. If I'm gonna die, I want HER to do it."
Damien was transfixed as he watched the cat transform. He'd expected someone in the group to be against them but he hadn't expected more than one and when he assesed the group he had never put any money on the dam cat, infact it was one of the reasons he dismissed Blaine because it just wasn't the kind of cover a goverment agent would take. He was getting fed up with all this situations, each more claustraphobic than the last. This could be the groups last stand and if that was the case he wasn't going down easily. He was going down in a blaze of glory, embracing his ability to the full. He may despise what he had became but in the end he might as well use what he was given. He looked at Seifer and ignored the rest of their company. "Say did you ever wonder what they did to people before they refined your injection? You got greater control over it an ability to keep your human form unlike me. It's interesting that they decided to give you that lightning think though. They did something quite different to me. I guess lightning hurts less." He broke the conversation as he produced a lighter. He hesitated as he stared at it, **** he hadn't done this since the first time the goverment had tested just what they had done to him. He put the flame against his skin and grimaced as it began to burn him.... Yes a blaze of glory, thats how he would go...
"You have such diligent words," said a voice behind Mike, "Such diligent words, how about you go out without a blaze of glory? How about a blazy of pity?" The shadows consumed Mike and when Mike erupted as the explosion, he died alone, in the darkness, and the reckless behavior was all done for nothing. Wrey smiled. "You like my power?" he asked with a childish laugh, "There is no way any of you are going to escape, Betsy will teach you a lesson as well." Blaine stared as Mike's body just vanished in darkness. Blaine couldn't explain that, but he stood up. "Its clear there is more of you then us, but I lets make a negotiation...I say we fight each other to the death one on one," Blaine said, "Tournament style, right here right now, each member goes as many rounds as they can until they die, or the other side has no more members." Blaine stared at the small group they had. "Does each side agree to this method? It would be a little unfair for you all to torture us at once, wouldn't you prefer to watch us struggle in pain until we die more slowly....a better form of entertainment for you guys," Blaine paused, "And for the group I came with, don't you guys just want to smack this mothers in the face until they bleed...you at least want to get the satisfaction of hitting them."
Seifer stood aside as Damien was swallowed in darkness. Interesting, he thought. I wonder if this guy's power will work if there's light around? Does he manipulate shadows or create them out of nothing? Regardless, he wasn't about to charge into battle uninformed. And he certainly didn't want to die without first knowing why. "Excuse me," he said. "Wrey, was it? I have a question, if you don't mind. Why exactly are you trying to kill us? Couldn't you have just left us back on Earth, safe and sound? It must've cost you a pretty penny to fly us all the way up here, into space, just to kill us."
Terrence stared wide-eyed at the man enveloped in darkness. He had never seen anything like it. He was stuck there, scratching his head, reaching for something intelligent to say. "That looked painless." he said, making gestures with his hands that indicated he was really reaching for something to say. "At least it was quick."
"Wrey, was it? I have a question, if you don't mind. Why exactly are you trying to kill us? Couldn't you have just left us back on Earth, safe and sound? It must've cost you a pretty penny to fly us all the way up here, into space, just to kill us." "It cost us nothing to take you up here....this was our birthday presents, this ship, space, or at least half of it, it cost us nothing to go up and down however we please," Wrey paused, "Its simple, we can't have failed experience down at Earth...most people would see you and look at you as weak Outlaws a lot of you have affects physical and mental affects from the infections and one of the biggest projects is to turn the world into an Outlaw world...so we can't have any of you experiments as role models, people would become scared." Wrey smiled. "I am fine with one on one tournament style and I think my whole group would agree....but dear Blaine I wonder what your group will think,"
"I am fine with one on one tournament style and I think my whole group would agree....but dear Blaine I wonder what your group will think." Sam bit her lip. No use running, no use hiding, no use... living. She shrugged and stepped forward. "I'll do it. Who do I fight then?" she asked. She may die, but at least she'd finally... finally be finished with it all. And maybe she could kick a little a** while she was at it.
"What's the prize in it? Whoever wins it gets killed anyway. I must look like boo-boo the fool to you. To all of you." He ran his hands over his chest and then resorted to snapping his fingers in rhythm, trying to think about the best way to deal with this fiasco. "F*ck it! I'll fight." he said after drawing nothing. "Who's my victim?"
"I guess I'm in too," Seifer said, stepping forth. He didn't want to be the first to take that step, but he felt ashamed that Sam went before him. She seemed to be the least likely person to go for this sort of thing. What he hated worst of all was not knowing what he's getting himself into. Half the Outlaws in the room were totally new -- he had no idea what their abilities were. But he knew the lightning wolf had a few tricks up its sleeve. He'd always held back when he used that form; now was the time to go all out. But he really didn't like Wrey's shadow-powers. Something would need to be done about that kid, ASAP, or they'd have a serious problem on their hands.
