"...what is everyone's power?" Blaine asked, "And what are your numbers?"

Seifer glared at him and adjusted his glasses. "I seem to recall being told not to give out those numbers... but if you really must know, I'm Seifer, I turn into a wolf, my number is 666-go-f**k-yourself, and I'd strongly advise everyone else not to give this guy your information," he said to the rest of the group, though he wished he'd spoken sooner. "And I'd also like to mention that I'm in full agreement with the plan. If it makes anyone feel better, I'll gladly tag along to help out. But that's probably not a good idea... since I'm not invisible, ya know."

"I clearly remember that being the case when we were just going to war...clearly this is a different situation and I think you should stop being a f@#king dick and give me you real f@#king number," Blaine said.
Blaine was getting very upset now. Very upset.
His injections left with no other emotion sometimes and anger was one of those emotions. He was mentally drained and he really was going to lose it at this moment. He'd break wolf's guys neck. He would.
Wipe out his own system and break his neck.

"The way I see it, we're still at war. Nothing's changed," Seifer said, calmly. "Besides, you don't need my real number; any number will do. I could be 666, or 123, or zero... What difference does it make? For all you know, these people could be lying about their numbers, powers, or anything." He knew they hadn't, but he wished they had. Their willingness to fork over information to strangers was frightening. "I've got my secrets, but at least I'm willing to admit it. And until you fix that attitude of yours, I ain't telling you sh!t."

"I'm sure they planned a crash event when they sent us to war....this is different we are now in the enemies home," Blaine said, "And I can't fix my attitude until you fix yours...snuffs."
Blaine glared at Seifer animosity burning through his eyes. And yet again the commander and the second in commander weren't making any deicisions. Just standing there.
"What is this mentally retarded day?" he yelled at them, "BUFG you're the leader do something...awww f@#k this I'm going that way and whoever wants to come can...and whoever wants to rely on these two sh@#theads can."
Blaine began walking the way he had originally started. He didn't give a crap any more.

"I'm sure they planned a crash event when they sent us to war"
Echo just laughed at this. And then covered his mouth trying to cover his snickering.
Echo just smiled at the others and turned around somewhere were no one could see him.
He noticed on his watch was a green dot. He pressed the green dot and turned the volume down to one so only he could hear.
    "Echo," the general said.
    "Yes," Echo replied really quietly.
"They are there," the general said.
    "Yes," Echo said.
"Then you should make them understand the situation,"
    "Of course,"
Echo turned off the green button and walked back. He smiled at them again a fun kind of smiled that said he was gentle and kind.
"We have a new mission and it is to take over the ship...it appears headquarters had changed our direction and forced us here," Echo said, "We should go with the more reckless plan...no sneaking around...we are going to have to take over the ship so we might as well have a plan that will have a lasting impact."

Her head hurt. Sam wanted nothing more than to sink into the floor and sleep through it.

‘Bickering,’ she thought. ‘So much bickering, it’s irritating. Number 2, number 200, number 9200, none of it really matters. It’s just so they don’t have to know any names, number us like cows. All this bickering. Go one way, go another. Make a plan, I don’t care, just shut up. Shut up. Just…’

“SHUT UP!” she yelled. Everyone stopped, though not of their own volition, all but one that is. Stars danced in her eyes and she realized what she’d done. She didn’t mean to… she just got a little mad, that’s all. She released them immediately.

    Now her head really hurt...

Now it was Seifer's turn to laugh. He kept it quiet, so only he could hear. "Like I said... nothing's changed, we're still at war," he said.

But Blaine was still walking away. Seifer had said he'd look after him until his strength returns. He couldn't go back on his word. "Wait up, I'm coming," he said, running to catch up. "Just because you're a jack@$$ doesn't mean I can let you get yourself killed."

Blaine stared at him. And then stared at Betsy who meowed happily. He had realized, she was hungry. He stared at Seifer and said nothing.
"I'm not a jacka$$...I'm just severely stressed out...my injections and my ability makes me a little irritable," Blaine paused, "I'm a fighter always have been and always will be."
Blaine continued walking he was going to leave the group for good. He thought the new mission was bull****.
"And we really don't know if that military member...Echo or whatever is even here for us...he just stands there letting us rip each other into shreds...there is something wrong with that,"

Seifer caught up to Blaine just as Sam screamed out. The momentary time-freeze that accompanied it was undetectable to any of them. That was weird, he thought, then it passed from his mind completely.

"I agree," Seifer said. "That guy doesn't seem very... dependable... but do you really think it's a good idea to leave the group? I know I said I'd back you up, but let's be realistic. My power is virtually useless against the enemy and yours won't be coming back for a few hours. The two of us alone won't last ten minutes."

"Ever inject someone who isn't subjective to your injections....they died of internal blood loss...if it comes to that, that is," Blaine said, "And I actually only have on syringe of injection left and Betsy needs some cat food...but I can't stay there....there is something off about that military person...it feels as if he wants us to die and every time we get close to killing each other or something happens...you see the reaction he just laughs as if this is a joke...I can't stay with someone who wants to kill me, just can't."
Blaine sighed, he actually needed some food and some coffee right at the moment. He was to stubborn to turn back.
"What I mean from above about not being subjective to the injections...I mean do you remember the first time you were injected the pain, the pain and fire that went in your body...it felt like you were dying, well that is what happens to people...of course most of them die out of pain," Blaine paused, "There has always been something a little suspicious about the Outlaw project...they only chose individuals they knew would be a success."

"Well..." Seifer wasn't sure what to say. He'd made up his mind, but couldn't think of a good way to say it. "I'm not coming with you," he finally said after a pause. "I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't like Echo any more than you do. I think he should be stopped, whereas you seem to think we should run from him. I don't run from any man." He stroked Betsy. It suddenly occurred to him that he'd never pet that cat before, even after all this time. And it was such a cute kitty, too. "By the way... You're not going to find any cat food and coffee," he said before turning back towards the rest of the group. "What makes you think a ship full of metal men will have any cat food? You're such a f**king idiot."

Blaine turned back quickly and looked at Seifer.
"I'm not an idiot, it should have been clear these are things I am craving, but how the hell did you even know that...I was only thinking about it as my stomachs lays empty I haven't had anything for a while...I never said anything about it being here," Blaine paused, "And what makes it any safer with them."
    Blaine sighed and followed Seifer.
A bunch of punk a$$ b#4tches on this trip.

"This ship is full of damned mad people", he sighed.

"Shouldn't we better get going?", he asked the captain.

Corson had introduced himself, told them his number, told them his power. And now they were yelling. Again. He should have stayed home, or just ran when he still had a chance. Now he was stuck here.

He shook his head. Like hell he was. "Either we get out of here, or we die. Make your pick." His arms had started to fade, as had his legs. His torso was the hardest part, but another minute or so and he would be completely invisible. "Anyone know where we can find a new ship." He nodded his quickly fading head towards heir crashed ship. "I doubt that thing will get us out of here."

As the group bickered with one another suddenly a loud sound interrupted them. It was the Mothership's alarm.
    A speaker came on.
"Gar rawr enega," said a gruff snarly voice, "Egra taluba."
It was quite clear they were found out, even though they had taken care of the other two. Another one must have slipped by. Suddenly from one of the rooms gave a loud rumble and they heard marching. The wall they had thought it was safe, opened it up.
A large militia of Cyberstone stared at them the intruders.

There were too many, it was too much. Sam stumbled backwards, wanting to run but afraid that moving would provoke them sooner. Did it matter though? She could outrun them, but to what extent? It was their ship... where would she hide?

"Gar rawr enega," said a gruff snarly voice, "Egra taluba."

What the hell is that? Seifer thought, trying to make sense of their ridiculous language. Knowing only English, he had no chance of deciphering it.

Suddenly, the wall behind them opened up. More metal men -- at least a dozen of them -- marched out. Their steps rattled the floor beneath him. Do we stay? Do we run? Both options seemed hopeless. The ship is filled with these guys and they could come out of nowhere; any wall could be a door.

"We can't take on all of them," he said. "They'll surround us. We've got to split their ranks somehow," he added, sounding too much like the leader he never wanted to be.

"But how can we do that without... splitting ourselves up?" she asked, stepping up to his side.

"But how can we do that without... splitting ourselves up?" she asked.

"Good point," he said. "It would be nice if you could do it, but I think you've worked yourself enough for one day. This is a little out of your league... no offense." He studied the advancing mob for a moment longer, still trying to decide if he was actually going to do what he was contemplating. "New plan," he said, "simpler than the first: a distraction. One person -- preferably a good fighter who's strong and quick on his feet, with animal-like instincts -- goes into the middle and wreaks havoc on them. Then, while they're confused, you all can counterattack, or run, or do whatever you wanna do."

She nodded. It could be, but she never really tried before.

"What are you going to do then?"

"Sounds like we send the wolf through," Terrence said. "Oh but wait, what happened the LAST time we tried that? Where did it get us? I believe it was nowhere."

He hocked a loogie and looked back at the group.

"I don't mean to sound like that, but really, we need to get some actual thoughts forming."

"No time for thoughts," she said. The cyberstones were there, they were coming. They weren't just going to wait while they were thinking up a good idea of how to fight.

She knew it was in vian that she ran. Sam ran straight for them. If no one else, then she would at least go out fighting rather than standing around 'thinking about' getting killed.

    Sam didn't want to die...

"I guess I made a mistake when I didn't tell you about all my powers," Seifer said, throwing off his trench coat and removing his shoes. "But there's no time to talk about it now. Could you hold these for a moment," he said, handing his glasses to Terrence. He took a step back and grabbed hold of an exposed wire hanging from the hole in the ship. This is gonna hurt like hell, he thought just before he stuck it in his mouth and bit down.

The transition from human form to the lightning wolf was always painful. As much as being electrocuted hurt, it was soon drowned out by something much worse. He grew to over seven feet and sprouted white fur all over his body, spiked like porcupine quills. His claws and fangs were metal, which he hoped would be stronger than whatever the cyberstones are made of. To top it all off, there was a faint blue glow in the beast's narrow eyes and arcs of electricity surged across its body.

The monster prowled among the group of Outlaws, specifically Terence, looking upon each of them with hunger in its eyes. But more than anything, it wanted a good fight. The lightning wolf ran toward the approaching cyberstones, easily outpacing Sam, and leapt into the middle of the group. They halted their march, and all turned on him. The battle commenced.

Echo turned his skin into the camouflage he wore last time, he turned into the puddle of the same material he did before. He was the only with enough experience of fighting with a hundred or more enemies alone. The puddle of the material moved quickly to the Cyberstone and then spikes bubble up from the puddle.
They were hard and concealed the Cyberstone with a web of weird green marble spikes.
"You....listen..." Echo began, it was hard to talk and concentration, "I'll...keep them...ahold...and you guys....go to safety....I'll meet up....later....I'm have experience with fighting this many....go now to safety..."

Blaine stared at Sam. She was crazy and going to get herself killed. He grabbed her by her shirt and dragged her into his chest.
"Come on...you heard what the man said...safety now...whatever safety we are going to get," Blaine paused, "F@#king jesus!"

"Come on...you heard what the man said...safety now...whatever safety we are going to get," said Blaine as he grabbed her.

"Get off!" she yelled, struggling against him. He only had hold of her overshirt though, so she slipped out of it and started running again. Running for nothing. Running to nowhere. Where was she running?

Wind on her feet, she ran. Just as she was about to hit those cyberstones not distracted by the wolf, they fell to the side. Focusing hard, she parted the soldiers of stone and ran between them, keeping them from catching her.

When she was through, she looked back at the group.

“Come on,” she yelled. “I can’t hold them forever!”

"Young lady did you even hear a word I said...."Echo said he was getting better at this talking while a puddle of spikes, "I have them in my webs of Spikes...I'll just stab them, but I need you out of the picture....and get a shirt on no one wants to see you running around in a bra."
Echo felt strange the talking spiking puddle of whatever it was.
"Get your shirt back on...thats an order,"

Blaine just stared amazed. A girl escaped his clutches with just a bra and running speed.
    So odd.
