    Paranormal Forum

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Lmc71775, Nov 10, 2009.

I was just wondering, why don't we have a paranormal forum in the fiction threads? That would be kinda cool. Or do we already and I am just missing it?

Gee I don't know. I always thought it was vampires, werewolves, witches and stuff like that. But not always "horror"...more along the lines of Interview with the Vampire or Twilight...something like that.

    Good question though...

You could consider it Fantasy, or Horror, or Romance, or General Fiction. It might even be Humor.

There really isn't much need to further subdivide Short Stories. As it is, the number of choices result in more confusion than enlightenment for members.

The real basis behind subdivisions is that certain genres do have different "standards" that can affect the criteria used to critique a piece of writing.

and if you meant for novels, there's no need to sort them into genres, imo...

No, I just meant the short stories.

I was just in the mood to read some and didn't see any. Like I said, maybe I missed them. It is hard to tell when its romance, horror and general fiction. But that would be considered two genres then.
