    paris 1930s

    gday everyone, am writing a story thats part set in 1930s Paris, does anyone know of any writers or books that could help me with background for the period.... can only find research papers on the net, and althought they're all right, really need something that adds a little more colour and atmosphere, thankyou

    Try looking at amazon.com or your local bookstore. I'm not sure if they have half price books, barnes and noble, or books a million by you. Those are all good places to look. :)

    I prefer half prices books myself because it's a second hand bookstore and it's cheap. So if they don't have that then try another book store like that if you're looking for cheaper books.

    Check out the history section. I'm sure there's lots of books about that time period. :)
