Do we only have the two transports? One for alpha, and the other for bravo?

There are four transports, for four squads... I'm sure Nathan would be pleased to see a familiar face, if that's what you're thinking...

I could go either way regarding whether or not Dog is on the same transport as Nathan. This would give us a chance for some good character interaction. However, if Dog is on board a separate transport, I could be presented with new opportunities for character development. (Dog may have to take over if the squad leader happens to get killed, for example. This puts him in an uncomfortable situation.)

The second option may work better seeing as how I don't post as often as you. (This really may not be an issue, because I'm sure you'll manage to inspire me.)

What do you think?

 

Flash, the Athena has 14 shuttles, used for transport and assaults

-5 x Hammerhead assault shuttles

-5 x Sturgeon attack shuttles

-4 x Barracuda tactical transport shuttles

You are more than welcome to catch a ride, but there are more than enough to go around. Right now Pappy is with a rival assault platoon.

Technically one Sturgeon can carry an entire platoon, but I like what NRG is doing so I won't interrupt.

 

Hmm... I would like to have Dog with me, but I didn't know you had planned that, so in my latest post, all of beta-fire team (not squad) are dead, and alfa team has already been named...

Perhaps you could be on another ship with a similar situation, and out teams could meet up.

 

Isn't there one squad per transport? If that's the case, two fire teams are dead. (Flamingo's post said something about half of the crew surviving, so I don't know what's really going on here.)

As for having planned anything, that hasn't actually happened. It was merely a suggestion. I'm actually open to Dog going with Nathan. I think that you will give me something to work with, and hopefully help me out of my creative rut. That's it. That's what I'm going with. Dog is on Nathan's transport.

 

Hey guys, Pappy is going to be boarding one of the Marauder ships with his team, which ship is getting blown up so that I know not to be one it please:redface:

Is it the Despoiler that's going to get booby trapped? I'm a bit confused.

Oh and great posts guys, this is turning into an action packed epic episode of some space opera. Bloody lovely.

 

Well, Nathan was gonna send the bomb to the despoiler, but it sounds like Carter's onto that, so we'll work out something to do with the bomb...

Remember that Nathan has no communications.

Also, I suggest having Dog on Bravo's transport, as there's nobody alive other than Nathan and the fireteam from Alpha's transport.

 

Don't let this die again! I'll post as soon as I hear more about Dog.

 

Sorry I've not posted, I've had an operation, this completely slipped my mind afterwards, more concerned with trying to get around better and such.
I'll get working on something, may be a bit of a biggey.
