Do you use a pen name? If so what is it? Mines a little embarrassing since I'm a dude, but the names sounds better then Sir Moon. Its Madam Moon. Its sound so much better then Sir Moon or Lord Moon.
I wanted something that meshed together and run well together. And thats how I came up with Madam Moon. *Clears throat* Even if I'm not a Madam.
But it sounded way better then most. And my Username is belongs to a main character in my story. He's really femine looking at gets easily mistaken for a woman.
*Cracks knuckles* Father you aren't crying about my name. Is this the way you want to raise us children and traumatize us. And you weren't joking. I'll find a better name later. I want Moon in my Pen name though and I don't know what rings with Moon.
I was joking. *pats head* But aren't names usually like name sounding? Like they sound like a full name? I used like too much. -_-
No I have a better one. My Pen name will be La Moon. Or Aura Light. I don't know I'm just being ridiculous now.
I don't really have a pen name. I'd rather use my actual name, but if I had to use a new name it would probably be Sir Ender.
You make one up. Its a simple as that. One day it will pop in your head and you will be I got it. It has to be something that you feel in your heart and soul. Something that you like and can feel. You should never look for a pen name a pen name follows you.
Reminds me of a wand in Harry Potter lol! A Pen name is also kind of the name you wish you had. Say someone was born "John Smith" and they hated it, wished for a better name. The name they wish they had (Cormac Armstrong) they would use as their pen name. Or a fantasy sounding name that wouldn't be used in our modern era.
Yeah or what Sir Ender said. Did it really sound like Harry Potter? Well that wasn't suppose to happen.
I really don't use one pen name, if I do, but my main pen name is Rabz Anjie, which is technically an altered form of my real name, so Rabz is basically my self-endorsed nickname while Anjie - okay, I shouldn't have made fool of my father's name like that, but it's a pen name, so Anjie isn't exactly my Dad's name anymore, anyhow. So Rabz Anjie it is. Anyhow, En Moon (spanish for the), Al Moon (arabic for the), Zeh Moon (like a slang, zeh), Moon Slayer (a little too fictitious, eh?), M. Moon, Moonie (lol). Best wishes with it!
Pen names. Coming up with one can be both fun and painstaking. Since I plan on going to law school, I will probably assume a pen name when I get my novel completed and if it gets published. Haven't really given it much thought yet. Neidermeyer is a fraternity nickname of mine, so I might just use that as the surname, but who knows. Leake, you could just use Moon as the surname, maybe coupled with an androgenous first name. i.e. Alex Moon just a thought
My pen name would be Edward something. I prefer these days to use my middle name to my first name. Edward Blackwater. Or the name I use when I go bowling: Garret Oswald Donald (HINT: in bowling, only the first letter shows up on the scorecard)
I have a pen name. It is Erie Sivad. It is an alteration of my actual name. I have a pen name as I mostly write in the horror genre and my work is full of gore and can be quite nausiating so I have been told. But I also write children's stories as well. So I figured that if I came up with a pen name there wouldn't be parents sying. "I'm not buying a book for my child that is written by a derranged and disturbing horror writer." Kind of makes sense if you ask me
