Ah, right. That's what I thought it was. Just wanted to make sure. I haven't ever really thought about my pen name much, obviously... Since I didn't know what a pen name was to begin with. Honestly though, I would most likely use my first and middle name as a pen name. It sounds a lot cooler and catchy than my first and last name.
I was thinking about this. And I decided that it's a great way to be two people. Would you rather them know your full name and follow you everywhere you go? A pen name could almost be like an alternate personality of you. And it's security to keep you almost safe. Well reading back on the thread and everything. I've been using: Alex H. Moon as my pen name. Alex Harvest Moon
I use the pen name of Alan Stevens on most everything that I do - my first name is actually Steve. Yes, my name is Steve Stevens. I was named after the guitarist for Billy Idol... /sigh. Do you know the worst thing about being named Steve Stevens? Whenever you meet new people there is always one who'll say something to the effect of, "Wow, I bet you never forget your name!" Who forgets their name? Even people with Amnesia know their name. /rantoff
M. Von Weimer.(Or maybe use my first name, but it might be kinda long.) My Great Grandfather's(Father's side) 'un-americanized' last name was Von Weimer. Or so I'm told. German last names were very unpopular when he immigrated here.
I have seriously considered using the pen name Unit7 or well more likely Unit Seven. Mostly because its the name I use almost everywhere now adays. But if I get published I will probably just go under my real name.
