'justified' and 'explained' are not at all the same... not even close... 'justified' means the rude or destructive action is allowable and excusable, due to some factor that makes it ok to do it, in re common morality/legality or within stated rules... 'explained' only provides reasons why the person may have committed the act and does not excuse them for doing so, does not mean such an action is allowed, or legal, or morally correct/excusable...
