I was talking to a friend about that today...old school was soooo much better. And maybe I'm crazy, but Kovu, from the second Lion King, would totally have been hot if he were a human and not a lion...just saying.
EH....heh. :I EDIT: no, I'm just kidding. The only thing I didn't like about old school Disney were the princesses' waists. Their waists are extremely skinny! :O
LOL! Too funny. But I guess I shouldn't laugh. I've thought the same thing on occasion (heck I'm in love with Cloud, and he's not real ). Could this say something about how people define beauty? Is it really looks? Or is it more the presence of the thing? Voice? how one carries themselves? The aura, if you will? If you decide to be beautiful and think only beautiful thoughts, will that make you seem... hotter? Sorry, it's off topic. My fingers ran away with me. But interesting none the less. My sister and I where discussing today at Safeway how he looks more like a vampire on the cover of Enquirer than he does in the film. He's got that creeper look down. Just like mother said "if you make that face too much it'll get stuck that way!"
I agree with this. Lol at Kovu though. He was awesome. But recently I've definitely been finding it's more about voice, presence and how they carry themselves. Movements and things... *sigh* hehe.
Haha. One's freakout is another's arousal. And psyence53, for me it's hardly about looks at all, it's almost all voice and the person's mannerisms. Looks matter somewhat I guess. It's hard to explain, but they only matter in certain contexts and in relation to other things. Also, for me, men can get away with lacking in the looks department a little easier than women (I like both). But yeah, either way, overall it's mostly about looks, attitude, humor, and voice.
I was surprised that Twilight won over The Dark Knight and Slumdog at the MTV movie awards. Then again, I wasn't really surprised at all.
That guy who played Edward in that movie terrifies me, honestly. We have a "Twilight Club" at my school, and there's a poster --a GIGANTIC poster-- with his face on it hanging in the main hall, and it really makes me worry for my generation. If it was any indication, I was dragged to the film last November. I had an AP Macroeconomics 3-hour-cram-review session, saw the film and laughed quite hard, and upon exiting the parking lot, got into a very serious car accident on a 5-lane highway where peers and friends of mine have died. Oh, yes; his face has the most wonderful connotations. As for Manson's choice... Dita was gorgeous, although she never particularly struck me as intelligent whenever she was in interviews, and that's the thing that matters to me, you see. Manson's an odd man. When he talks, I listen, but I dont agree with his preferences in women.
Target audience who liked the movie = Target audience that would actually vote (just to see their favorite series win, regardless of whether the film was good) and does 90% of phone communication by text. - between obsessive checking of their eyeliner, of course.
Natalie Portman - Like her cause she seems quiet natural, not a make-up whore (or as much as one). She can also act pretty darn well. By primitivenz at 2009-06-03 Lucy Lu - I really don't know why. But someones you don't get to choose who you think is hot. She always has that look in her eye that says "come over here" but i know she'd then kick my arse a thausand different colours. By primitivenz at 2009-06-03 Melissa George (Alias) - One of my first ever "TV" crushes. I'm not really into blondes, but i always liked her. Also, i wish someone by now would have told her to wax her eye rows. She could hide a small nation in them. By primitivenz at 2009-06-03 For the fun of it, My manly, man crush, even to today! In another time, universe, maybe he could have turned me. By primitivenz at 2009-06-03
haha, oh man. Nah I hope she doesnt own hundreds of cats now! Profile - A pair of Schizophrenic eyes = epic
^ Lol. I think she's too busy making an amazing career for herself to care. I wish I was that strong - something like an ex dating somebody who dressed just like me would bother me alot. (Not that 'Jeans and t-shirt' could be considered copying, but..yah know. Theoretically..)
That's fine. Naturally people are going to like it. My main gripe was that it won because the series itself is popular, rather than for being a better made film than the others in the category. It doesn't even come close to the quality of the movies that it beat. (At least two of them anyway.)
Sadly, yes. (It was only the MTV movie awards, but still) Anywho, continuing on: Zhao Wei I dig my sweet and sour ladies!
I'd sell my soul to the devil for just one hot night of passion with this man. Is it really too much to ask? he's heaven. I saw him in the flesh and it just made my crush worse, haha. If I got my hands on him...MM-MM-Mmmmm. He's sooooo sexy... I certainly do have a thing for older, rugged men.
Twilight -- bane of 2008. How anyone ever liked those books or the movie is beyond me. You think people would have the sense to look past something stupid but obviously... not.
