Okay, here is the scenario... You are an alien, that can shape shift into human form. Your goal is to conquer the planet, but you otherwise have no other powers except exceptional intellectual abilities. You have been given $25,000 US dollars into your bank account, a house, and basic neccesitites from your mother ship. But otherwise no high powered technology, and no powerful connections. You have been deposited into a random, run of the mill mid-sized city in the Midwest. Your mission is to see if it is possible to achieve conquest of the earth through pure intellect. What is your plan, and how do you go about it?
Use video games to lure the human beings into death traps, secretly hiding their bodies. And for those who are immune to video games, use an Iphone.
Shouldn't this be in the games section? Anyway - that's one generous mother ship by the way - an alien might be too naive to be able to do such a thing with resources like that. They would give all their money to a 'generral from nigiria'.
I was thinking more along the lines that the alien would go to the casinos and become a pro poker player or bet on horse racing or something along those lines, in which his vastly superior ability to make logical predictions would give him a huge edge. Then, he would employ his vast wealth to take advantage of the unstable governments of third world countries. He would start to bribe and influence the local power players, the government officials and military officers. Then he would make his move to a leadership position. From there, he can expand through warfare and political calculations.
