Plot or Character?

    It depends on the type of story, and on the person. Believable, interesting characters always make a book more enjoyable, no matter what the genre. I'll overlook a weak plot for interesting characters, but others need a strong plot to be able to enjoy a story. And in some genres it is just important to have a strong plot. Adventure novels fall into that category. In Mysteries, interesting characters are more important.
