After posting two critiques, I decided to submit the first chapter of my novel. However, I cannot post and instead I get this message: The only 'inappropriate' elements I could think of are depictions of violence (it is an action sci-fi novel) and some cursing, but there is a clear warning at the top of the post as per the rules. Is it some bug or some error on my part?
the most usual cause of that warning is having a link in the post - for new members that tends to trigger the spam filter. if thats not the case could you send me the content by private message so i can see what might be triggering it or if it is indeed just a bug
This doesn’t sound like it’s caused by the recent workshop changes, there was likely something in the post that triggered the spam filters, ie a link like moose mentioned. In unusual circumstances it can be flagged by the server, i.e. using words commonly used for server-side commands (like delete, alter, query, etc). This should be a very rare occurrence. If this is the cause, it’s difficult to diagnose without seeing the contents of the post. @christos200 can you try posting it in this thread to troubleshoot (and you can delete it afterwards), or else a screenshot of the content do I can scan it for word that might flag the filters?
He made this post shortly afterwards: Porta Inferi I assume it's the same thing he was trying to post when he had the problem.
@Naomasa298 that helped, I think I found the cause and made some changes. Please let me know if you notice it again.
