Hi everyone, My name's Tim, and I'm new here. I write occasionally and enjoy short story writing, although I do photography a lot more, and work in politics. I have a question about posting- I want to post a short story I've written but I don't have 'permission'. What does that mean, and how can I get 'permission'? Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you all! -Tim
There is a post for new members to read that.... I have no idea where it is. But basically you have to be a member for 2 weeks (or donate to the forum) and post two critiques per story you would like to post. I hope I got that all right. Edit: Here ya go https://www.writingforums.org/threads/new-member-quick-start-guide.132102/
Hello Tim, Jaro is right. You can look it up under Rules up in the menu bar (or whatever that is called)
Hi, thank you both for the information. That is a pretty good rule, now that I think about it. It encourages reciprocity and participation. Thanks for the quick response! See ya, Tim
Welcome to the forum. Ok, good to hear you found the answer. Once you've met the requirements, you're free to post to the workshop. If you want to post another entry, you'll have to give two more critiques for that, so basically we enforce a 2 for 1 rule here. Anyway, have fun exploring the site. See you around! -Kat
Hi Tim. I had the same issue. This forum basically requires you to give in order to receive feedback.
