Quotes

Discussion in 'Revision and Editing' started by riverbank, Jul 14, 2011.

Hi members

I don't know why it is not obvious to me, but how do I quote a single line, clause, sentence word etc. of someone's work to comment.

I know when you review the whole work is given as a quote, but how do you zero in and isolate passages?

Thanks for your help

Use copy and paste and the
tag to enclose what you want to quote, and it will come out like this:
The icon that looks like a comic book speech bubble, above the edit area, inserts the tag around text selected in your edit area.
