LOL - Not even Lubbock and Amarillo together could eat that much BBQ!

That is actually quite an economic blow to little Dimmitt, the town where this happened. About an hour southwest of me.

Today I discovered that the penalty for failing to fulfil one's feudal duty for a landed thegn in King Alfred's time was a fine of 120 shillings and forfeiture of land.

I also discovered that 120 shillings was the fine for removing a nun from a nunnery without permission.

Priests working on a Sunday also got fined 120 shillings.

Presumably that's why all the nuns kept going missing.

The police just knocked on my door to say my dog was chasing people on bikes. Who did they think they were kidding? I can’t even get my dog to sit on command, and they want me to think he can ride bikes.

He's a sportsball player whose name even I recognize, and not for his sportsballing. That's weapons-grade whack-a-dooism. :)

Rogers never got over the fact he wasn't the first quarterback selected in the 2005 draft, and has been a dick about it ever since.

That was a pretty damn good draft class.
