I liked the first season, after that it went downhill.

 

I never saw it but it was literally everywhere in 2017. Supposed to be pretty good.

 

Regardless of how long you may have gone without sleep, you only ever need a good 8 hours for your body and mind to fully recover

I Italicise fillums but that’s it.

 

Who knew that tortilla chips left too long in a ticking toaster oven will burst into flame? Or maybe it was residual grease on the tray. But boy was that exciting, carrying a flaming toaster oven over to the sink, opening its door and having the flames burst out in a sort of fireball, then grudgingly die down under a shower of water. Didn't need to call my fire department friends, but it was close.

The amazing thing (other than the curtains not catching fire) is that the toaster oven works fine today. And, since wife washed all the charring off, it's as bright and shiny as new. But I wouldn't recommend this approach to cleaning it.

 

I got my laoptop computer out today; the first time in probably over a year. Son of a bitch, this thing still works. I was hoping to get a new one

 

On a note completely out of left field, grape and cinnamon salt water taffy do not go well together.

 

You still have to try these combos. If people didn’t, we wouldn’t have peanut butter and jam sandwiches. Or cheese and apple.

 

I wonder why certain words fall out of use. Take ‘without‘ (to mean ‘outside’). Why is it no longer in use, when the opposite, ‘within’, is?

 

I am thinking of venturing without to buy chocolate to put within, thereby obtaining the wherewithal to withstand the rest of my workday.

 

Within had a better PR campaign.

 

And without has another meaning that's in everyday use.

 

George Harrison did a play on that with his Sgt. Pepper song, Within Without You: "Life goes on within you and without you."

 

Here's a country song with the word "without" in the title if that helps
