Finding I have the money to do my washing, have a club sandwich or buy more alcohol.
Also: reading. Regardless what it is, and having time to myself, with my guitar or my CD collection.

Learning about countries that I've never studied before.

Countries like Belgium. I mean my school history books, if anything, mentions it being overtaken by Nazis in WWII.

Birthday threads for me...and all of my forum friends who thought enough about me to leave a wish or two. It means so much. :)

Phone calls from my grown children...singing "Happy Birthday" to me...very special.

    I am truly blessed.

I'm glad you had a good birthday, Chim. :)

Decorating my very own Christmas tree with Joel for the first time makes me happy. I feel like a little kid, but I don't care! I had a good night.

Finding cool stuff at the thrift store. Yesterday I found one of these Balinese wood carvings. Mine is yellow skinned with red eyeliner...really creepy. My husband hates it. :)

My friend sending me a little cat toy filled with cat nip. I don't have a cat, which just goes to show we share the same sense of humour. :)
