Days like today, when it's cold and ugly outside, and you go to a bookstore and sit inside in a warm cushy chair and read a book that makes you all happy inside.

Or designing pages in said environment, which is what I shall be doing this evening.

Singing along to the Pogues. I can't sing a note to save my life but hey, neither could Mr. MacGowan! (when he was liquored up at least. Could hold a tune well enough when sober though.)

 

City lights in the distance, writing corny poems, my brother showing of with his new speakers to me, singing Audioslave songs, eating cola-flavored candy, my mom passing by my room with chocolates, my hair when it starts curling for no reason...

 

Do you ever get so excited about something that it makes you dizzy? That's how I feel about my wedding sometimes.

 

This made my hands fly off the keyboard and to each side of my face, drop my jaw, smile, and visibly utter, "Awwwwwwwww!"

Thanks, guys. Sometimes I don't think about how close it is, and then someone says something, and I'm like "oh my god...I'm getting married in two weeks and two days!"

nice to watch them with all that energy.
They are getting old and arthritic, and this lets me forget I will not have them around forever.

watching news like about the widow mother with an amputed arm and no job who begs in order to pay for her son's fees who's studying for accountancy, in a country where so many poor people send their children on the road to beg instead. A positive news for once where all that is shown in terrorism and politics. At least it makes us aware of their need so we can send contributing fund. Yup, 5 out of 50 times, the media does do good.

When I look in the mirror wearing a bright red shirt, with a flowery purple tie, pinstripe suit jacket, blue jeans, red converse and I think 'not mad enough. I need my suit trousers.'
