Are their any recently released spy novels? Particularly set during the cold war? If not, then the any recently released spy novel will be good. The reason I ask for recent, is because their is a better chance I will find it at my library.
I would suggest "I am Pilgrim". It is absolutely amazing, though it is not set in the cold war. Don't let the size put you off either, I have yet to speak to one person that wasn't blown away by this novel. Superb!
I have to post an agreement with Raider, I Am Pilgrim is excellent, and they are already talking of a film.
