    Reporting Research Creatively!

Discussion in 'Research' started by Research, Sep 23, 2011.

So I'm working on my senior honors thesis, and I've been using the following words to report my research:

    [A] observed that...
    reported that...
    [A] found...
    demonstrated
    [A] illustrated...
[C] were more likely to [report] than ...

I feel I'm overusing some of these words. Does anyone know what other words would help me to report my findings?

I'm on the literature review section, and although people keep telling me it's not repetitive, I feel it is. It's ten pages of reporting findings on peer-reviewed articles and I really need help on this.

So, if anyone can help me on this, I'd be forever grateful!

    Thank you,

    Novice Researcher.

We cannot help you with school assignments. There is no quick solution anyway. You may be able to reorganize the structure to reduce the number of such quialifiers, but you may just have to live with it,

The harder you try, the more it will stick out,
