    Ringtone

Discussion in 'Character Development' started by Elgaisma, Apr 8, 2011.

    Need a ringtone - I don't have a mobile phone lol

Have a young police detective - he is married with a wife and child. Possibly having an affair with another police detective (female). Any suggestions ? Something vaguely funny.

I know that, silly :) Ringtones generally are set so that a different one rings when a certain person calls; so.. he could have one for the wife and one for the lady detective. Which are you looking for?

weighing up between Dr Who, Torchwood or He-Man

Right now it Dr Who and I think he is a tad young for He-Man. Thought it might be fun as David Tennant is currently who I casted as his boss.

So, when the boss calls the male detective's phone, there is a distinct ringtone to announce it is the boss? If the wife calls, there is yet another ringtone to announce her. Is that what you are looking for?

Or did you need a generic ringtone for the male detective's phone that sounds regardless of who is calling?

If it is the latter, and he is a cheater ... "I'm Too Sexy" cause he thinks so highly of himself.

lol he probably won't look like David Tennant to anyone else :)

I am wondering about killing me softly as the guy who is being called is dead. If you can think of a song about losing your head it would be good.

To be fair to the guy he may not be having an affair - it is at present just an assumption myself and one other character has made :)

for a shrewish wife ....hall & oates 'maneater'
for a bossy boss...... the theme from jaws
for his on the side fling....oh canada (because his wife will never suspect any hanky panky connected to the ringtone)

for a boss he hates an insulting ring tone like donna summer's bad girls (to crack coworkers up at boss' expense)

Though Bananaphone is always embarrasing, regardless of the situation (unless maybe when you're drunk).

I had the theme of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz as the ringtone for my ex, back when we still had to speak to one another.

The original poster understands the likelyhood of the person hearing the ringtone attached to their name is slim, I need to figure out what year ringtones became common place. The bulk of my story is the 1st decade of this century 2000 to 2010

If they're looking for a dead man's phone, you could always drop a sweet Jurassic Park reference and have it be the ringtone of that phone the t-rex eats in the movie!
