Wow. I've never read any of his books, but I know the man was a legend in fantasy circles. I think I'll go pick up the first book in the Wheel of Time tomorrow, as a tribute. Rest in peace.
Thats such a shame, I didn't know he was sick. I just got into his writing a year ago, and I am on book 2 of the wheel of time series. If you haven't read it yet, you should go check it out.
I think the fact that he was sick was partly responsible for the Wheel of Time taking so long. That and it's so long...
RIP, you were a good author. Now did he leave enough notes for someone else to finish the "Wheel of Time" series?
If he was nearly done the bloody series when he croaked, he'd better stay dead. I was waiting until he was done before reading any more of his novels.
